Leaderboard time posting incorrectly

Why does the leaderboard keep posting the wrong time for solving a puzzle?  Today I had a score of .56 on a medium puzzle but the leaderboard showed 3.04.  The easy puzzle time is wrong every day.  Thanks for any help.
