I just want to say how much I enjoy your special kind of maniacal behavior... keep up the lunacy.

I am currently sitting here singing along to "She's Leaving Home" being sung at a NYE concert in the Sydney Opera House by a local group called Human Nature. I LOVE these old favourites... luckily Lachie has really good headphones that are blocking me out...

The group is being backed by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra...just wonderful. A real treat.

It has been stinking hot all day and the promised black clouds started billowing in before it got dark and now the backing sound to the concert is the sound of thunder and rain on a tin roof. BLISS! What more could one ask for in this parched fire ravaged land? I hope it keeps up for at least another 35 minutes... it would be a wonderful way to start 2010. I feel a little sorry for those that are out reveling and looking forward to fireworks but what better gift is there than rain and mother natures own light show?

I think i had best do a cut and paste for the other page...running out of originality!! Anyway my friends, nothing left to say but a heartfelt wish for a healthy, happy and prosperous new year. May all your troubles be little ones.

I ended up just shutting everything down. Maybe this is an omen? Now if I could only find that long PM that I lost to you Heidi....

I am still in a state of shock at find my post here and being able to submit it even if it is over 12hrs out of date!!

2010 has dawned and already I like it better than last year...or should I at least say yesterday. To find it 20 degrees cooler than yesterday is a BIG relief! The smell of rain is still in the air and if I could just get the hips to co-operate everything in my world would be hunky dory! I'll have some breaky and see how far I can manage to walk without pain... fingers crossed girls...
