I have a very salty and sandy walking stick kept specially for the beach. In summer I used to go paddling. Can you imagine this aging lady with a shaven head, walking stick and shaggy dog on the paddling through the shallows? Well, next they will have the same, but crutches and no paddling. Don't think I could get a walking frame down there.

I've been away for six weeks. I'm hoping my dog will still know who I am. He is staying with friends, and he adores them and their kids and dogs

hey! you're even closer then vDV. I drive past there on my way to and from Melbourne.

Aah, a nice place to land. Have often thought how nice it would be to live down there but then I've really only been there in summer. Once when I took my hubby away for his birthday, we came back from Sorrento that way and that was in August. It sort of changed my mind!

Tooradin's got mossies almost as big as the Jabiru so for about a month a year you need to have blood handy

But it is a great place to fly from, so much to see, quite close when you are doing about 200km/h

This is getting to be a complex conversation. (1) Merlin will be happy to get home (2) I have seen a plane land on the beach once. (3) You tell those big bully 747's to leave you alone.
