A 'Laugh in the face of death' meal is one where you eat anything you want. To the devil with anything 'good' for you. One time we went to a restaraunt and split stuffed potato skins, nachos and a brownie topped with ice cream, hot fudge and whipped cream. He calls it moral food.

OK, I must run. Hubby has invited me to come watch ICE ROAD TRUCKERS. And you know, I got hooked on that one, the ONLY reality show I have watched. Driving over frozen Canadain lakes to resupply a diamond mine! AND promos hint that one truck falls through the ice tonight, OH NO!

I like your husband's style.

No, been looking for a part-time job though.

Part-time is not easy to come by these days unless you're in school, etc. How many hours are you looking for?

4-5 because I still want to paint a few rooms this summer. I'm so glad that the heat here has finally broke. Is it still hot there?

It was cooler this weekend, in the 80's, but to go back up to the 90's again tomorrow. How many rooms are you painting?

Truck did not go ALL the way through the ice, like promos made you think it would. they got it out and patched the road. do not have to go far for materials for an ice road hehehe, just pump it up from the lake.

I would like to get the kitchen, living room and our bedroom done. I hate closing up the house after painting. Have been waiting for cool, dry days. They never seem to come together. They're saying rain starting on Wednesday, but who knows.

Won't you almost have to wait til August? But then they may be dry, but hardly cool. And, September is usualy too wet. Guess you just give up and wait for one or the other!

I'm guessing this must be a summer home if you're 'closing it up' after painting?

I was thinking that too. Maybe I'll stick with the dry days, which is most days here. It's only rained twice in the last month. Do you have any plans for the rest of the summer?

We only have our home. Hubby doesn't like the smell of fresh paint. He has allergies and says that sometimes it gives him a stuffy nose and a headache.
