There are a few historical and science sites in OH. One of the nicest trips we took was to Hershey, PA.

We live in a suburb of Columbus. WV and KY are south, IN is west and PA is east. Lake Erie is north. Put-in-Bay is an island in Lake Erie, just off of OH.

Hershey's is the best idea yet.

Yes, we went to the factory and came home with so much chocolate, I had to freeze it to keep it from going white (and away from hubby).

Speaking of chocolate, he just recently found my stash of Halloween candy in the freezer. Might have to put that on my list (hide the chocolate).

You would not believe what's happening around me. H has decided to reorganise his pooter room. Isn't it amazing just how we can keep posting in the face of adversity!!!

There's a lot of fall festivals in OH. We might be able to go to a couple of the ones that are further away as day trips.
