So many people claim that the universe is infinite. To me infinities are just errors in our calculations. I don’t think the universe is infinite in any sense of the word, neither age (I should probably use eternal for this context) nor space. It started really small but then it started expanding and it never stopped since. To me this expansion makes very little sense if the universe is already infinite. Obviously some infinities are larger than others but it feels like giving up or choosing the easiest option. Like I know it’s big, actually immensely big but I don’t know exactly how big so I may as well call it infinite. That’s just wrong to me. It most probably ends somewhere. The universe probably has an edge or does it? let me know your thoughts on this, I'm curious.
