Everyone has abandoned me! Not here, I mean at home. D#1 and S#1 are working, youngest disappeared outside and D#2 says that if nobody else is going to help, then she's done enough! Mutiny, I say! I'm just going to have to hide everything else until the company leaves!

I'm taking a drink break because it is getting warm out and I don't want to be all by myself!

Stella I wouldn't worry too much about everything being perfect for your visitors. I know I do exactly the same, but they never really notice. I'm sure they are coming to see you and youir family, not to see if you have anything lying around the house

YEAH, that nasty ch9re os over. i did my grocery shopping, at the store furtherist away, where i stock up on canned goods. Luckily huby was finished working when i got home and brought it all in for me, actually helped put it away.

huumm, NOW, what's for dinner?? i should have brought in something. I wonder what is available with the iffits tonight? I remember thawing some pre cooked venison and gravy, there are some green peas from last night, maybe some mashed potatoes new for tonight and slice some tomatoes? If I could magically come up with a sweet now, would have it heheh.

Anyone around? It's getting late here and will have to go to bed soon.

I have a 15 minute reprieve on dinner, asked him when he wanted to eat and he said 7 pm.

Well, today, we missed 2 more chances for a little rain. Twice t storms were headed right at us and they broke up over head, went around, and got back together! I think there is some mystic rain repellant in this area. No wonder the old timers call this area Dry Valley. Well, the temps did moderate, i got to hear thunder again, smell the rain and feel the wind from it. Please reasure me, it will rain again, it will rain again, it will rain again.

Maybe if i change that avatar to something other than that sun I have been using, do I need to find a cloud? a lightening bolt? who was it had weather smilies, was that nancy? might I borrow a cloud or two??

The house is presentable but not all of the rooms got the thorough cleaning that I was hoping to do! That's usually the way, that's why it never gets done!

Scrap, the 15 yr old ginger, is acting like a kitten. He has been having Cartrophen jections because 3 months ago, I thought he was ready for the green sleep! But vet suggested this course and now I want it approved for humans! I want what he's having!
