Thanks Heidi and Gail. I have now put up the next set of drawers to get finished while I have all the material out.
The tile sealant that we had is about 15 years old and has gone 'glug' I have put some polyurethane on the tile. A bit shinier than the rest but looks OK. Better than it was.

Thinking about your pavlova and quiches Gail. My mouth is watering. I am going to my sisters tonight and she always puts on a wonderful meal.

Hi everyone! Well I'm back from the party and the eclairs are all gone - I guess there isn't any better praise! It was a lovely afternoon, and we'd only been back a few minutes when the lad walked in the door - home from South Australia! I never worry about him, but it's always nice to know he's safely home. :)

I haven't been able to get any more of the house painted. It's either been too hot or raining. We had violent thunderstorms yesterday caused by the heat. I hope Meghan didn't run into any of them while she was driving. She went to West Point for the weekend and brought the rest of Brendan's dorm room to him. (of course he forgot a bunch of stuff that I'll have to bring him when I go to his first home game) An old friend of Meghan's needed a date for their big senior weekend at West Point(a military college). They're having a ring ceremony, going to NYC for a boast cruise and then a formal dance. I guess they do it at the beginning of their senior year, rather than at the end. It's supposed to be a bad weekend weather wise because of the hurricane coming up the coast.

Off to have some breakfast and then some ffuts done. Must get some laundry done, haven't done any all week!!

It was Chicago the musical.
I've seen the musical before...years ago and enjoyed the film enough to buy the DVD..
I had no idea who was in it and was delighted to find a few of my favourite locals on the program. Made me realise how many musicals and shows we go to when I found I recognised such a lot of the performers. I hadn't even wondered about the star billing and was delighted to see Gina Riley on the program... I have been a big fan of hers for years [way before Kath & Kim] I don't think I had seen her live before so that was a treat.

Heidi, I am sorry you are still feeling blah, bet you can't wait for the recovery.

We are also just home from sis's 60th. The food went down a treat, I also took some marinated chicken wings and they got blitzed along with the rest of the food.
Very tired. I don't like night driving and we live 80km cross city, which usually isn't too bad due to the freeway...but it was closed! We had to detour through the city, which at this time of night is not the best thing to do, but it wasn't too bad. What is normally just over an hour ended up being an hour and a half, so I am knackered!

Don't know which flu I had but it took weeks to get over and mine wasn't complicated like yours by pneumonia. [bronchitis, sinusitis and asthma here] Rest up and take it easy if you can. We will all be here when you are up to interacting. Just try to leave a daily progress report if you can. You know how we all worry when someone is MIA...

I'm hoping that Vici will be feeling well enough to poke her head in for a quick hello and health update.

Now I had best get to bed... I am also hoping to get some gardening done today [it is after midnight so it is technically today]

Good evening. I am back from buying food. I hope I bought enough. I am working on lesson plans and realized I will have to go to school tomorrow to make copies. My students will not take textbooks home for a week or so and I don't have their workbooks yet. If I wait until Monday morning I may not get to the copy machine. I took before and after photos of my room and will post them soon.

MizT... it's STILL, not again. It started as a bad head cold, went to bronchitis and I believe it has segued to pneumonia. I'm gonna have to go to the hospital tomorrow. I can't wait until Monday to see my GP because I have to report for jury duty on Monday morning. I keep getting worse instead of better, despite a bunch of meds.

Heidi, I do hope you get better soon. Will you still have to serve on jury duty if you are that sick? I hope IH helps with the animals.

I am going to say goodnight now. I am waking the kids up a little early to get them used to getting up for school. One more day of freedom. Hope everyone has a great day/night where ever you are.

Tami... the judge said that the only way we can get out of reporting for jury duty is if we're in a coma in the hospital. And he'll send the sheriff to the hospital to verify the coma.

and he is not allowed to talk about it, wouldnt have thought even a murder would go that long, cannot imagine what it may be.
