GAil, you may tell your hubby, we are sort of stuck with keeping AOL. We started a web based business with AOL for address, like I said, 8 years ago when it was the only thing available in our area. business is such we may send information to a customer and not hear from them again for 2, 3 or 4 years, then they write back to SAME ADDRESS saying, OK, we are ready to get started. So for them, we keep AOL.

I had to be good at something! I realise I'm starting to sound like a real dunce but I'm not as dumb as I sound. Noone could be!

We allhad to learn, and i am still learning every day. they say if you keep learning into old age 9 I am getting there fast) you can keep alzheimers at bay. So I started doing sudoku, then I got hooked on chat, now using brain power to manipulate graphics for avatars heheh.

Our neighbor sets out cat food and it's drawn a mother (between 2-3 ft. long, 30 lb.) and 3 'babies' (around 1 1/2 ft., 10-15 lb.).
At 3 am the dog wanted out. The way he acted, I thought there might be a cat out there. Let him out and all of a sudden I heard scrambling noises and hissing. Went running out and the mother was standing up on hind legs hissing and the young'uns were climbing our tree. I'm out there screaming no over and over. Hubby came running out and got the dog away.

Yes, the 'coons will come for food, was gonna be my first suggestion, remove food sources, but if it is not at YOUR house, might be difficult.

The neighbor has been out of town and will be back Monday. Plan to have a talk with her. She has a Westie and another dog that weighs about 12 lb. They'd be made into mincemeat by that thing.

Gail, not a genius, but I had to learn some to understand what hubby is talking about. His hobby is building machines and then keeping them running. ALL the neighbors call him when they have a problem. He has his little black bag of programs on disks, i wold say well over 100 disks, and off he goes on house calls. So when MY cpmputer breaks, I have to fix it, he is off tending to some elses computer hehehe

hmm Becky, maybe you could get rid of the cat, then no cat food left out, then no coons.

Becky, if you check with your local animal control, you might could rent or borrow humane live traps, catch them and telocate them.
