When you first get the dishwasher it is a novelty to load and unload then after the newness wears off it becomes a chore. Just watch out for someone loading it and then forgetting to switch it on. Hope you have loads of room in your kitchen for all the new mugs and plates you may find yourself buying, just so you do;t run out before the dishwasher is done!!

My brood (including step children from both my husband and me) range from 45 to 16 and there are 7 of them in total... not that we see them all these days. I moved south when I met and Married Richard nearly 8 years ago and one step daughter even moved out to Oz

I have resisted the dishwasher for a long time. now that #2 is at Uni as well, he is more unreliable now as with #1, it is left up to me to do dishes...

Our son, gorblessim, understood that we weren't too flush when his 21st rolled around plus he was already living away from home by then so we just gave him $ to do with as he pleased. He didn't even get his 18th pres till after Xmas that year!

Mum's 80th last year made it a very hectic year. She's the first of July and almost the whole tribe made it. Mum had 6 kids and we're all scattered far and wide but all plus many of our offspring made it to Adelaide for the Grande Dame's big day
