I have to get ready to take son to the orthodontist this morning and then pick up youngest son from school after his first final. He never did study for it. I told him he better get an A. It's better to get good study hbits when young but as this is his first final ever, he doesn't get it yet!

I gave up stressing about kids schooling years ago. I figure if they dont go to academia naturally, I'm not going to drag them to it!

The living room today and the exta bags of clothes the kids got rid of when they cleaned their rooms this weekend!

The other 3 did everything on their own and did quite well. The youngest has the bit of the devil in him and is smart but easily distracted. In September, he will be the only one home so it will be easier to keep track of him!

Daughter #1 is 19, just finished first year at Boston Uni, Son #1 will be 18 in Aug and will be off to Drew Uni (NJ) in August as a freshman, Daughter #2 is 14 and has decided to go to boarding school in Boston (she did it all on her own and got a 95% scholarship) and youngest son is 12.

Sorry, got interupted. D#1 is starting her summer job at the bank today so helping her get things together.

Son-22 D#1-19, D#2-17, D#3-13. Do you understand my shorthand?

Hubby is Aug 18th and son is the 27th.

You musy be so proud Stella. None of mine chose to do tertiary schooling and as I said before, that was their choise. I think there's a whole different slant on it Stateside. We dont do things like college funds as the norm unless its a decision one actively makes.

the 13 yo wuold be my problem, did not get along with either daughter at that age, a trying time.

Also, my 25th anniv is next year as well, but Sept 10. You guys beat me by 9 months!

I can see why the pages have been flying! It is nice to have you here Gail. I wish some of the other regulars would visit but I think they don't like it for some reason.
