Rola & Gail, I know for a fact that petrol is about twice the price in Europe as here. And Emm backs that up - 1.39euro is about is approx $2.20 (I always just double the $ and take off a little to get the Euro). So we can't complain too much.

It seems as though diesel is more common for cars here than petrol now - a litre of diesel takes a car a lot further than a litre of petrol, and it's cheaper.

Started that and two phone calls and then one possum had arrived to be fed.
We had a light frost this morning and it feels like we may have another tomorrow. Getting a bit chilly outside.(for Sydney)

June, it was freezing all day here, & I think we'll definitely be in the minus figures again tonight. But least here in Canberra our homes are equipped for the cold, not like yours in Sydney, huh

Aus seems to be resisting diesel emm but then we are in the pockets of the Ameri-oil co's. They are definitely an alternative, esp now BMW's are affordablish. H business partner drives a beemer 4WD on dies, says its good economy
