sorry, my internet connection cut out on me again - I think it's trying to tell me something!

My daughter who lived in Germany loves baked leg of lamb. When we visited I had in my case a frozen leg of lamb and a whloe frozen rump steak.
She told me she could only buy lamb at the 'turkey' shop and it was not as nice. I later found out it was the 'Turkish' (as in people from Turkey) where she could but it.
Just watched the news.about trying to refloat the Pasha Bulker at Newcastle. My sister will be up there again this weekend but I will be in Melbourne.

Dont know what the price of diesel is here, about the same I think

June, there is a permanent, undercover market in the city centre where you can buy lamb here, but it costs about 10Euro/kilo. It's also available from a stall at the outdoor markets, but I haven't seen a leg of lamb there, only smaller cuts.

Both possums are out there now. The ringtail is shy and only likes fruit but the old brushtail ran up the drive when I went out again. Had 1/2 apple before but this time a jam sandwich which he opens and eats the jam first.

Instead of sitting here thinking about food, I'd better go and buy some. I'll be back later. Bye

Emm, My daughter has been back in Australia for 11 years now so she can buy all the lamb she wants. She was living near Beerfelden in the Oldenvald so shopping was more basic. If the meat was well frozen it was still a bit frozen when we arrived about 30 hours later. I think then I was buying the Rumps for about $1 a kilo and it was lots and lots more than that over there

I was just in the middle of writing a sympathy post to emm for losing her internet connection and then mine went totally bizarre & soooo annoying
But now I also have to go & help the so bye everyone.

Rola: M&M's win as far as I'm concerned, but it wasn't really a fair test - Smarties contain an ingredient that I can't eat (wheat), whereas M&M's don't.
