Hi All

I had three brothers, the oldest died five years ago quite suddenly. He was 58. You'll see me refer to a sister occasionally--that's my brother's widow. I've known her since I was 8, so I kinda grew up with her around. I was 15 when they married, and we're very close these days. We both miss him so very much--in different ways, of course.

SPECIAL POEM FOR SENIOR CITIZENS!!

A row of bottles on my shelf
Caused me to analyze myself.
One yellow pill I have to pop
Goes to my heart so it won't stop.
A little white one that I take
Goes to my hands so they won't shake.
The blue ones that I use a lot
Tell me I'm happy when I'm not.
The purple pill goes to my brain
And tells me that I have no pain.
The capsules tell me not to wheeze
Or cough or choke or even sneeze.
The red ones, smallest of them all
Go to my blood so I won't fall.
The orange ones, very big and bright
Prevent my leg cramps in the night.
Such an array of brilliant pills
Helping to cure all kinds of ills.
But what I'd really like to know..........
Is what tells each one where to go!

There's always a lot to be thankful for if
you take time to look for it. For example
I am sitting here thinking how nice it is
that wrinkles don't hurt....

My problem last night was trying to figure out the best route to the doctor's office. SIL knew the best way to get there and another way to get her back home. They took away the exit on the freeway that would drop you off practically at the front door.

My Mum and Dad thought it hilarious, showed it to their doctor who was not amused

No sense of humor - that doctor.

Cous, I'll have to go the long way around the earth, so we can all meet at Perth for lunch then continue on to Melbourne for the bar crawl
