Rola, that's how I got opps...we had to be in the twilight zone...lol. I've just come back from your page and the breautiful tour of Perth. I knewwhere it was located on the map, but really evjoyed the pictures,particularly the beach. Thanks for reminding me cause I had meant to do it before but got sidetracked. On the other side of the road the traffic was backed up for 22 miles!! I assume it was from rubbernecking!

Daughter #2 is having a hissy fit because the two older ones went to the drive-in without her (the double feature won't be over til 1am)and she wants to stay up to watch a movie even though she has school tomorrow!! Teenagers!

It is called rubbernecking when there is an accident on one side of the highway but the other side of the highway slows down to see what is happening. They 'stretch' their necks so they can get a look at the accident.

Oh my gosh, she is going on and on. I am getting a headache!

Is everyone gone?

There was a lot of holiday traffic on the road. For the most part, we were going in the opposite direction of it. Alot of people go camping or to resorts in upstate NY for the holiday weekend which officially opens the State parks and beaches. Since they were heading back to the NYC area and we were heading home to upstate NY, we didn't have the bumper to bumper traffic. If it wasn't for the accident and the tractor trailer catching fire, it would have been a nice(but long - since my sister lives 5 hours away) ride home.

While hanging out the washing yesterday, little Miss Two from next door was.calling out 'Mummy, Mummy, Mummy ....' and banging on something.... Glad I am past that !!!

Good morning everyone. I've had a few days off but am now back in the fray (well on & off anyway). Looks like only Stella here at the moment - hi Stella. I had to stop you CPing too much!

OK, now that I've explained ad nauseam, I will stop talking. I think I'm going on and on because of the lack of contact over the weekend. You know you're a sudokuaholic when...

Stella, Hubby and I always leave early for any Holiday or return, just to beat any built up traffic. When going down to Albany - 6 hour drive with a couple of Cuppa/Food/Toilet stops on the way, we leave 5.00am.
