Hi Rola. My weekend was reasonable quiet, but its nice when it's like that. Way to go Stella - topp. But with all that CPing you were bound to get there!! We don't think you're crazy, just trying to get a topp. How many are you up to?

Jenni. MizT and I are equal topp .. last count..

Rola, when we left for the weekend, we planned on leaving at 5am but did not get out until 6am. We thought we would still beat the traffic but our shortcut turned into a long cut when we hit a college graduation. Everything was backed up so it took us 6 hours to get there! You can't win!

Rola I love your slideshow on your page BTW. Very clever, & very nice photos showcasing your lovely city. You had your son working pretty hard for you over the weekend to get that going??

Fantastic Rola, I don't have enough time or patience to do all that. Even gave up on the smilie thing, it was just too hard to find decent ones, that didn't want you to download programs.

I would think working out flickr wouldn't be too hard for a woman of your talents

I had lots of time on Sunday Afternoon to fossick on the pooter!!!
Boys were in their room studying/doing assignments.
Hubby had not returned home from installing a friends kitchen the day before.

Jenni, sorry, I went to put the kids clothes into the dryer. Otherwise, no school uniform or sports uniform for tomorrow!

My sister had a birthday party for her oldest daughter who turned 30. She lives in southern New Jersey, right on the border with Delaware. They had the party at the local lake so the kids got to go swimming since it was VERY hot. It was very nice. Most people went home on Saturday but we stayed at my sister's house and visited until Monday (today) since we hadn't been there in a while.

I went over to do the Easy but I got sidetrack by the comments. There is a person from my town on the site now. It is so funny to meet people from all over the world and then have someone here from your own area as well.

Stella, here in Perth we have many, and met quite a few of them.. we have had a couple of breakfast with visiting sudokuist: GrannieMo/France, and Lauren/Wangaratta (Rosemarys Daughter)

I got tied up then too, but now eating lunch so have turned off the phone. Sound like a lovely weekend, Stella, nice to catch up with family. Rola, I really am impressed

I think there are a few Sudokuists here in Canberra, too, & I think they have had meetings.

It seems like it would be easier to meet people from far away than close by because there would be a safety factor in the distance. Especially if it didn't work out or it was awkward.

so far, all the meetings with fellow sudokuists have been great, chatting, laughing etc as if we are all old friends.
The first time I met anyone, was coffee with Billy and Mel.. Billy sent me photo of her and Mel together at their first get together. and I sent one of me to Billy. At least I knew who I was looking for.

Rola, how do you change your avatar without it changing the one on all the previous posts. Is that something special for supporting members?

Stella I find sometimes my previous avatars stay the same & sometimes they change - I don't know why
