I had to check to see if the site was back up again. I kept getting this message come up when i clicked in. Most anoying.

UH OH, I was not looking, and here I am again, TOPPs. What I get for talking to myself.

Hi, MizT. It's still a bit early for me yet. I haven't even gone to my poker site to play yet. (I only play for pretend money, and I have a lot of it.)

No Ruby, a little more elective than that! MizT, you just wanted another TOPP. The site was down for about 3-4 hours - most depressing!

The message that comments are not available is up now, but my last comment went through.

Jenni, I know It was down fore I went to bed, 2 hours ago and had been down a bit before that. Hubby actually asked me why I was in watching old reruns on TV with him. I tried to convince him was cause I love his company hehehe

It is depressing when the site is not up. Goodness, don't you think Gath needs to archive some of these pages?

Yes, I had just got to her first post with the map. I wish I had written down where I found it! Might look for USA map too. I do not have any avatars or smilies pending at the moment. Must correct that

Jenni, I might do that, copy the LOL. I did one, but yours is much more colorful, and cannot have too much laughter.

YEP, I am as addicted to making smilies and avatars as I was to the last to post contest. It is all part of my USE IT OR LOOSE IT program, I am learing new things to do on the computer, it keeps my mind active.

I think I shall try my bed again, I have the room cool now. I tried to sleep without the AC, too humid and warm for that.

I know about the learning how to do things - I have learned a lot as well about the internet through this site.

Morning everyone! Going for HOT today and the humidity creeping back, but still NO RAIN forecast. Everyone West of Alabama needs to face east and BLOW REAL HARD, and send that Bermuda High back to Bermuda! It is like an umbrella over us, and just the reason Oklahoma and Tsxas have had so much rain. So if you tired of the rain back there, blow that HI back out to sea. Your cooperation is much appreciated.

ROLA, thanks for the beef and pineapple recipe. I have all the ingredients, and shall give it a try. I need to find the original recipe for the chicken and pineapple, you do not like mushrooms? Well, you can leave them out. I think the original, easy, before heart healthy recipe calls for cream of chicken soup, from a tin, do you have that?

MizT...Yes to Chicken soup from a tin. I just ignore Mushrooms in recipes.. I do like mushrooms, its the mushrooms that don't like me...

Chicken Hawaiian Recipe

4 servings chicken breast or equilivant amount of cooked chicken or turkey
1 large bell pepper sliced into strips
1 medium oniln, sliced into strips
1 pkg of mushrooms ( optional for Rola)
I tin of pineapple chunks in thier own juice.
1 tin of cream of chicken soup,
butter or oil for browing chicken if not cooked.
Soy sauce to taste

Brown chicken, either breasts or cut into strips.
Remove from skillet, add the ioions and peppers, and cook till wilted. Add mushrooms , and continue cooking till they wilt and the onions begin to brown. Add the pineapple and juice, soy and the cream of chicken soup. Simmer till the chicken is cooked through. May add water or broth if the mixture cooks too thick.

Serve over rice with a salad and additional veggies if desered.

Recipe is not picky, more peppers or muchrooms or onions is fine, Scallions or green onions with tops fine if you have those, play around with it. You could sub curry for the soy I think. Recipes are just a suggestion

Hi Rola, Cockatoo is a very pretty town just outside of Melbourne in the Dandenong Ranges. We've lived here for five years and will probably stay till the last of the tribe leaves high school.

ROLA, I am thinking OH is abreviation for OTHER HALF. Used on many forums. Similar ones are SO for significant other, DH for dear husband, NOT SO for Not So dear husband (when they been bad) DW wife, DS son or sister ( gets confusing that one) DD, daughter, DMIL, mother in law, you get the drift.

of course. Other Half.... too late in the evening for the brain to work in full gear !!!

Yes OH is my husband though I like the DH abreviation too.
