Glad that everyone seems to be having a good day. Just stopped in for a quickie. Have to go fling food and start packing with Mitchell. I am not happy at the thought of him being on an airplane right now but I hope he will be careful and use plenty of hand sanitizer.

Gail: Yes, I am!!! He retires from the Air National Guard on August 2nd!! He had his weekend warrior (drill) duty this weekend, so instead of working Saturday & Sunday, he was home...which was fine, except, I had to COOK!!! I am so used to eating leftovers when he works, I have to switch modes!!

Tami: Tell Mitchell I said have a safe trip & a good time!!

Hey Heidi & Vici: How are you both today? I think we FINALLY have spring here in Utah. Low 60's today, makes the mountains look so pretty.

We've got spring here, too, but it doesn't want to stop raining. The grass is growing at a remarkable pace. Which is good for the hay crop.

Heidi: So how were the races??? Like I said a page or so ago, I would LOVE to go to the Kentucky Derby!

I'm not going to Churchill Downs until the 16th of May. But I expect to have a blast as usual. I wouldn't like to go to the Derby, though. Unless I had a horse running. The crowds are insane.

I can imagine the crowds are nuts! I lived in NY for a long time, never went to Times Square for New Years Eve--I get a bit claustrophobic in crowds that big.

Aaaahhhh! I came home from town with a headache so what is happening next door? They're having a tree chopped down and chipped. Of course the road bends in front of their house so the chipper is in front of mine.... Murphy!

Suzy: That article is very interesting. I remember reading something about doing crossword puzzles having the same effect. My Aunt Sandra is almost 74, she does crosswords and she's still VERY sharp mentally. Must mean something, don't you think?
