I'm back! Got tired of the net crashing on me so spent some time installing updates. Let's hope that fixes it.
Suzanne, I've never had migraines but I think yesterday was the closest I've come. I have heard that light is uncomfortable when you have a migraine, and I had to sit in a dark room last night. Much better today though. Just a dull ache now. I can cope with that!

Suzy: I am glad you feel better. Migraines also make me nauseous and are usually only on one side of my head...I've had them since I was 16. There are some GREAT medicines available if they are migraines. You should ask your doctor the next time you go.

Before the ittle Aussie born Dutch Girl, becomes the Wicked Witch of the West, she is a 'China Doll' !!

Good morning lovely SA8 people - Julie, Heidi, Rolanda, Suzanne, Bobbi, Suzy, et al.
To the headache prone people, my condolences. I suffered them (with the nausea) from about 16. The best side-effect of menopause has been - no more migraines. Woo Hoo!
Busy week again this week, back when I can. Ciao!

Heidi - yes, I think it's different with everyone but ten years with no migraines has been heaven. I still get headaches but not as often and not nearly as intense.

I agree with CynB about the best side-effect of menopause. I too was a migraine sufferer - dark rooms, nausea, pounding head, etc. Menopause brought relief (and hot flashes, but those have subsided. One daughter not only inherited the migraines, but also hypothyroidism and bad knees. I can only tell her that menopause will bring some relief of one of the three, but she has a long time to wait for that!

Hi Julie: How are you doing? Our weather FINALLY got nicer, we had 75 degrees today! I have all the windows & doors open. It is now 68, very nice. Just waiting for my lilacs to bloom! They're almost there. My roses need HELP. I have several that are dying due to hubby using salt on the driveway to melt the ice/snow...might pull all the dead ones up, maybe plant sunflowers???

How young did you think I was, Julie? There are 2 kinds of menopause... natural and surgical. I had the surgical kind... a complete hysterectomy. There is no age requirement for that.
