It seems that SA7 is getting old and slow. It is time for a new page. Welcome to SA8.

Well, I'm not easily discouraged, except ... well, sometimes. Ok quite often, but that's not the point (and I spelt it right this time!)...

There you are! I thought I'd have to waffle on for a bit, then I got a TOPP by accident! Hi Heidi! Sorry, I wasn't expecting that one.

Well, not much of a competition - I think we've all been thoroughly thrashed! But I can still get a TOPP by sheer cunning and ... accident! ;)

Remember... On SA 6 I got 50+ TOPPs, and that was with Mono. You shouldn't have challenged me. I've gone a LITTLE crazy.

As they say in the classics:

"We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.

"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

IH was walking past the cage containing the finches, stopped and looked for a while and asked if I was sure that they hadn't been painted.

Hello, Everyone! It's nearly midnight here tonight. I have spent nearly the ENTIRE day gathering/collecting/organizing information to work on tax preparation. I HATE all the work, but it makes it easier when we meet up with the official preparer of forms. We work with MIL's info, too. Unfortunately, at age 94 and with magular degeneration, she doesn't alway remember to write down information, and when she does, often can't even read her own writing. Hubby keeps trying to convince her that she no longer needs to take care of her own bill-paying, etc., but no luck yet.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day with lovely weather and excellent dealings with family and friends!

That should be maCular degeneration and alway(S). I should proofread before hitting the Submit button.

Have a wonderful day/evening/night, Everyone!

At 94, maybe she should be exempt from taxes. My idea, not the governments.

Julie. It's after 1 am here, but my internal clock says it's midnight.

Good Morning Friends in Sudokuland.

Cloudy and a bit damp today, but warm/ Cloudy is in the forecast for the comming week, partly cloudy, mostly cloudy, cloudy with the possibility of showers. I do not see the word SUN for all week, bummer.

Gail, welcome back, looking forward to show and tell.

Broni, OUCH, that does not sound fun at all. Get well soon sweetie. Hope you and yours stay safe from the cyclone.

JUNE, thanks for the " Hi when you wake up" that is a nice something to wake to find.

Suzy, wishing no more cyclones/rain/floods for you, I am glad this one is now south of you. Is it still turning out to sea? I do hope so.

Weather from hurricanes/cyclones does feel weird. The biggest one to come through here was a really big girl, with wind and rain bands far flung. As an inland huricane, of a strong cat 1 when it came over our housewhich is a couple of hundred miles inland, we had weather coming at us from every direction, by turns. Here too it was strange to have winds from the east, because our weather usually comes from the west, we do get north winds with a cold front, and south winds on occasion, but east seemed very strange.

Meghan called in a panic this morning because some stitches came out during the night and that side was very painful. She took 2 hydrocodone, which I don't think was a good idea. She took it because the first one didn't work and she has classes all day today. But now she is wiped out. It would be nice if she could get a break.

Over the weekend I took everything out of Ian's room in case he actually brought his flute home and it was lost in his room. No flute, but I did remove 3 leaf bags of clothes that he has grown out of!
