I've been kinda here... actually trying to get some dog tags made up on eBay..... you know.... in case. Though none of my dogs run loose.

I have the bad habit of trying to plan for the worst, so it doesn't happen.

I would need the tags to remember all of those names Heidi!

I just looked at the weather forecast for Monday, when we ship out the calves. High will only be 33F!!! And 70% chance of precipitation! That means icy roads. This is very scary.

Suzy... these tags will just say "Surreal Farm", with my phone number. In case a dog gets lost, they can be returned easily. I am considering name tags as well, but since I have so many old timers, it could be a waste of money with some.

I'm gradually closing down everything I had open ready to leave for baseball. I left this page to last as usual...

That makes sense Heidi, you can reuse the tags on different animals.

Well I have to go now. Not only do I have to leave, but hubby needs the computer to study...

I am only hauling the cattle across the street. The neighbor there has a loadout facility for the big double decker livestock trucks. There will be 4 of us loading our calves aboard there. I am more concerned about the big truck full of cattle that will be having to drive out from here to Kansas as quickly as he can. (To minimize shipping stress on the calves)

OH Heidi! That one is so gorgeous! We have a draft horse classic at our fair grounds and I love going to it and walking around to see those beautiful, sweet babies!
