Well, I don't have a Bah Humbug...but I do have a Grinch!
Just caught up on the reading and it was great to see Broni, Julie, Cyn, Suzy, June, Viv, Bean, Lizzie, MzT and Heidi all checking in. Looks like C is in full swing on SA.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner tonight...watched a fun movie together and now it's beddy-bye time for me.

My tree is decorated. i will give it one more look see tomorrow in the daylight, to see if I am happy with it, then start putting away the boxes and the unused ornaments. My kitty girls do not bother the tree. We put up a table top for several years, cause of them, but a few years ago, decided i wanted my tree back. AL put up the tree and let it sit in liging room for sevaral days, and scolded them for getting near. They did not bother it at all once ormanemts went on. If I can get Scooter to know what is not for kitties, she will teach Screech for me. I watched with great interest once, when Scooter guarded a quilt i had on the quilt wall. Screech was still a kitne, and wanted to bat, climb, play with it. Scooter sat under the quilt and batted Screech away anything she got near. Good Kitty Mommie!

CynB I asked my Mum to write her story for me,
she said I can't do that, but said she would try
I gave her an excercise book for every decade.
and she started with that, they got that much out of it as I would hear Mum and Dad laugh as it had them reminiscing all the time, once she felt she had a fair bit written, I went and got her a royal doultan journal(in the old english roses print)
Now a few years after there deaths, the family all want to borrow it. not a chance of that
but I am working a way of making copies

Liz - my Mum, now with dementia, and my Dad, now passed away both wrote their stories 15-20 years ago and I am so thankful. That's why I'm doing mine. It may not seem important to them now but it might in 20-30 years. And as I write I realise how different life was in the 50's and 60's!
