Still way too early to be having C decorations up.

Speaking of C Decorations.. had some up on the Patio yesterday for a Family C Gathering.. 23 of us yesterday had BBQ lunch, with lots of yummy salads, and Sweets..

Have we heard from Gail and Rena yet, on how yesterday went.. What are their plans for today??

Hi, no, not still playing with the penguins. It was awesome. The girls had lots of fun. We are going to Science Works today.

Amber should enjoy the Science Works!! She loves to do Science Experiments !!

We went to one in Toronto and she loved it. Hannah is coming too, they should have a great time.

Back in from feeding livestock. I started getting the shakes, so came in to eat a banana. I'm gonna start flinging food soon. Tortellini with marinara sauce, italian sausages and garlic bread.

HI and bye to all those pipping in and out this morning down under!

Tree is finished, YEAH, I am happy with it. Made a nice stir fry veg and turkey bits for dinner, and i am ready to EAT IT. Must make pear salad to go with and will have it all done and ready.

Found a foot for the sewing machine, and a threading guide. Al and I might see if it sews later tonight, after dinner.

It is nippy, temp has dropped all day today. Into the 30's for overnight, brrrrshy.

did not get the outside lights ut up. tarted out once, and it was raining. Second time we started out, wind was howling, canot manage lights in that kind of wind. We only have a small bit of lights to put up, aroun the front porch and down the stair rail, maybe 25 feet in all. AND a lighted tree. but i do enjoy those lights makes the dark season so much better.

Ok, hunger is calling, time to eat.

Heidi, I made tortellini tonight also, but with garlic butter. My boys are not lovers of marinara sauce.

I LOVE tortellini but can only have it when eating out - hubby calls it torte-bloody-lini.
I love this smiley and it's for my hubby not liking pasta and for not putting up the Chrissy lights.

Hi Brenda - I haven't even thought about C cards yet!

I didn't realise that you could chat 'live' on MSN until today. Richard has a conference call tomorrow for work and he needed to check that a new headset/mic worked on his laptop it did eventually. Trouble is my laptop doesn't have a mic on it so i couldn't talk to him.
I think I may ask Santa for a new notebook pooter with built in webcamera.

Why isn't hubby putting up lights this year, have I missed something by quickly reading pages?

Brenda, you have been a good girl and I think you deserve a new laptop also. I will put in a good word for you. It might not help as I am a troublemaker.

Brenda the cheaper way is to buy a webcab with the microphone built in it, easy peasy and attach to you notebook.

Tami any good word would be a help I saw a nice laptop today but don't think I could ever be a good enough girl to deserve it. It cost over £2000 which I think is roughly $4000

Just waiting on my you tubes to upload, got a couple of Bella running, sorry no puddles today and found an old one of BJ and Bella when she was a pup too cute. Puter is slow while waiting for them to upload.

Broni, stop being a spoil sport... I would like a new notebook, don't really need one but would like one. Richard is after one too so I guess we will both get one at some point in time

Brenda - my sister makes all her own cards. She tries to persuade me into going to card-making classes but I don't want to really. I spend too much time on the pooter and not enough on my mosaics or scrapbooking to take on another hobby!
That must be one you-beaut notebook at $4000. I just bought one recently with built-in webcam and mike for Au$1000. Add on wireless router etc and it was more.

Hubby just decided not to do the lights this year and there was no changing his mind even the grandies couldn't shift him. He really wants to go the whole hog and set them to music but that would take months of planning, extra wiring, replacing old lighting and needs to be computerised,not to mention being unpopular with neighbours. I suspect that's why he was so amenable to me buying this laptop. I created a monster when I showed him someone's YouTube last Christmas. Basically he's just sulking (like a man) because he can't do it.
