Hello all. Boy was it hot here in Bundy today.
I am still trying to cool down after being home from work for 2 hrs.

love your avatars julie! and yours is pretty too nola. life is flying here. all good. my plan to read today evaporated with incredible amounts of machine feeding. i somehow got it in my head that all the blankets needed to be washed. i did 9 loads of blankets today. yes- i'm certifiable! i also organized and cleared stuff. i have 4 huge garbage bags destined for the thrift shop. i think i am just clearing my mind to make room for christmas thoughts. if everything is done i can relax and enjoy!

i want to sit around and chat and read, but i can't! i must go do some sheep counting. tomorrow is another busy day doing more fun things like looking at patio flooring finishes. oh joy....decision making is not my strong suit. i will need all my wits about me. ta ta!

What wonderful news. You must feel so pleased with yourself with achieving so much Mariana.
I wouldn't mind being under a blanket right now IF IT WAS COLD.

I thought I had lots of smilies at 158 but I am a long way from Heido Ho.
Very warm here for Port today too.
Re hubbies new job. It is what he was doing before, a mechanic.
This guy he is working for did his apprenticeship where Trev got put off from.
We have known him and his wife as long as we have been in Port Macquarie. We actually went to his wedding.
He has two girls, one 15 and another 13.
Anyhow he has wanted Trev to work for him for a while so Trev starts tomorrow.

Quite a few people were away on holidays when Trev left and did not get to say goodbye.
So I am organizing a get together on his birthday, after work on Friday 12th Dec. at the Settlers pub here. I will tell him we are going over there for tea and the others will all be there when they have finished work.

Next week I have the scan on the thyroid on Monday, Tuesday to the surgeon who did my look see in the knee so I will finally find out if I am a candidate for the mini knee surgery.
Then on Wed. at 9am a doctors appt.
Also on Tuesday my Avon will arrive and on the Thursday I will deliver it all.
Approaching $800 in orders so far, I will log in the order probably Thursday night.

Viv - I'm so pleased that Trev got a job and one that he'll obviously like. What a nice idea to organise a party for him.

Nice to have a lull between jobs here.
Was out nearly all day, had coffee and crosswords with John and Jane and then getting more Avon orders etc.
Home to do some ironing,and any minute the bbq tea will be ready.
I have to get organised on the chrissy cards but just cannot seem to get started.

Julie, that's a huge project. I sometimes go to the online white pages to see if people are where they used to be, but that's as adventurous as I get!

Mariana I thought I was doing well yesterday when I did my washing - first fine day in a while so EVERYTHING went in. At least I thought it was everything until you mentioned 9 loads of blankets....

Agree with you Suzy - last Sunday I washed the sheets, blanket, bedspread, pillow shams and cases just from our bed, as well as a load of towels and one of Colin's work clothes - 5 loads all up. More than I've done in a day since my kids left home.

Dinner is nearly ready - bye for now.
