"Thank you for dropping by my page with condolences. My dad was only 65 when he died which was pretty shocking at the time. The last 5 years has seen the demise of my mum and both of my in-laws. It leads me to think at times that getting old for some really sucks..to put it bluntly. It results in a particularly difficult type of grief for the offspring to accept... watching the ones that you love decline in such a graceless fashion.

I have certainly reviewed the way my father left this earth. I am not planning on following the example set by any of my forefathers... But for now I am trying to line up all my ducks, tie off all the loose ends and sort out anything that is preventing me from getting over there and annoying [sorry...meant meeting] all of the topsiders that I can.

Julie, we were snow bound at hospital with AL from Sunday night, but he already back home tonight. Best place for him to be vomiting like he was and a temp. we were safe and would have power and heat, but me Joy and Al in one room was NOT fun, I am too old for that. He had picked up some virus and or bacteria of unknown origin, probably never know, but they cured it.
