Nal. Your New Year sunrise photograph is spectacular. I have never seen such oranges in a sky. Absolutely the best dawn or dusk sky picture I have ever seen.

You mention your seeing the sunrise as 'an experience'. I had a similar one - curiously at New Year; but in my case, as I remember, it was New Year's Eve in 2001. I was in Padang in West Sumatra. The colours looking out to sea were so red and intense - maybe there had been some volcanic activity to do that. I am going to search for it so I can post it on My Page for you to see. It may be a little time before I find the file.

Great Sunrise shot, Nal!
Matheson Hammock was the first place my son ever saw the ocean. We were on a trip from Chicago when he was just seven months old. Even though he is now 14 and we live in South Florida, I have never been back. Maybe in 2010.
