Hows the weather up there. Its not too bad here, overcast but not freezing. Must admit tho when I couldn't get the net I crawled back into bed next to hubby who never gets up before midday of a Sat.

The weather here is awful. We seem to be at the tail end of all the storms that are happening in Sydney & north of there. There is a huge wind & it is an icy wind, but no sign of the rain they've had up north. We are sposed to get rain, but I'll believe that when I see it

I just had a phone call from my sister who is on the road from Sydney to here. She said the rain is so heavy, & visibility so low that they are doing 80k max. I think it will be hours before she gets here

My Sydney sister is currently visiting down here, caught up with her last night at another sister's house about 10 mins away. Lucky she's here and not there by the sounds of it. Sending safe journey msgs into the ether for your sister.

Sorry to have missed you earlier, Gail, & now Becky. I have finished the vacuuming, am having a little lunch, then will go shopping. Thanks for the thoughts for my sister, Gail. I was looking on the BOM website & the rain only goes a little way south of Sydney, so if they can make it there they should be OK

Doing better. Hubby took the week off and we tore everything out of the pooter room and painted.

Wow, felicitations. It's always such a great feeling when you paint somewhere in your house

This is his room. His favorite color is yellow, so when I bought the paint I picked canary yellow. It about pops your eyes out. He loves it.

Do you love it too, or will you just stay out of the room?

Our puter room is the one room in our house we have yet to paint. Hubby painted the rest of the house the year before last. Trouble is, I want to refurnish it as well, it is pretty ugly at the moment, & I want to update it. Therein lies the problem cos we can't agree on a style

It's ok. The only time I go in there is to clean anyway. When I showed him the paint swatch, he asked why I didn't pick a brighter shade. What do you think of this color?

This room is too small to have a style. The only furniture that fits into it is a desk, a stand for the printer and scanner, and a bookcase.

There's no accounting for some peoples taste

When we moved into the house, he talked me into painting it yellow with tan trim. What can I say? I was young and stupid.

Our puter room is an old bedroom. It has 2 ugly bookcases, one ugly desk, an ugly chest of drawers type thing, an old couch (not so ugly) & a filing cabinet. It's kind of a hotchpotch - a place where all the furniture that we didn't know where else to put is stored
