You go girl. Wow with that sort of determination you can do anything. Maybe some of it will rub off thru the airwaves.

I've told people about the virtual parties and they look at me like I'm nuts. Maybe they're right, sometimes I feel like I'm going off my beam. But, I like getting to know people and I have fun here.

The room is small and I've never done it before. Figured why not. If it doesn't turn out, I'll throw a rug over it.

I know exactly what you mean. Since joining, I have told people about the fun and frolics and I think they are getting a little jealous. Might be a few nore members very shortly.

I tried painting a room by myself but the feedback wasn't brill so now I think I'll get a bloke. Thats a local term that means get in a tradesman.

I played the games for a year before I posted. Guess I still have a little shyness left. Not much, but a little.

Painting just takes practice and you'll develop your own technique. I trim out the ceiling first and put about 4-6' of the trim on the walls, then paint the ceiling. After it's dry, just trim the wall paint and roll.

Sorry Becky just popped in to the easy page and got into a debate about M&Ms v 'Smarties'(the Aus equivilent). Man is this place mad!!!

No dramas Cyndi. I dont have an avatar, thats why you missed me. As to the qu whats the diff. Smarties came first and are better, of course. Now Gail, dont start up on this page as well!

Opened another window to go back and read the posts. Anne mentioned egg scissors and reminded me that when we went to the mall to buy my laptop we stopped in a kitchen store. They claimed that they had everything you could ever want. I asked the clerk for egg scissors. Boy, the look I got.

I went back to check on the debate. I'm not familiar with their 'smarties'. Have you heard of them Becky--they're not the tart hard candies that we get in a roll, but evidently very similar o m&m's.
I've been okay, too many drs' visits, too many diagnoses o deal with. Don't want to go to drs' offices again.

I can just imagine how that clerk reacted! What do eggs need scissors for anyway?!

Never heard of them. Love 'our' smarties. Remember SweetTarts? When I was in high school, couldn't get enough of them.

Hate going to the doctor. Between not feeling well and the wait, I don't know which is worse.

Awhile back, they were talking about their egg scissors. From what I gathered, they're used to cut the top off of soft boiled eggs.

That's okay, I've really got to call it a night. Didn't get any sleep last night and have to find the air leak in my hose to my CPAP--that drove me nuts last night until I took it off! Goodnight all. Catch you on the flip side.

I watched a Martha Stewart show (pre jail) and she poached eggs and then trimmed them with a pair of scissors. I hope someone is still here to get this nugget of information.

I'm flitting in and out of all the pages. What a way to spend a Sat afternoon! My stomach is telling me to take notice of the time and feed it. I like to think of tummy growls as the body eating up its own fat reserves. Wishful thinking.

Hubby and I were talking the other day about all the different candies when we were little and never see anymore.
