It seems like there's been a lot of illnesses lately. I feel lucky just having injuries last month.

Bad ankle sprain, then the neighbor dog accidently gave me a rope burn on the back of my leg where the knee bends.

It's healing. Itches like mad. Neither is serious, which I feel lucky for.

Thats right. I've been reading the posts for ages now and it has opened my eyes. There are so many things to be thankful for.

A couple of weeks ago, hubby was upset about work and a few other things. I told him that he should count his blessings.

I know what you mean. My H and I often get into very philosophical discussions about the world's woes and he tends to get irate so I say to him if you cant change it dont worry about it. 'Dont sweat the little things'.

I got that far but am totally new to this pooter thing which is quite weird seeing as all my kids have one in their bedrooms and H sits in front on 5 yes 5 screens. How do I get it from that box to here _? Do I offer it something, is it like a mouse, does it want cheese?

Pick which one you want. Put your cursor over it and the cursor should change to the pointing finger. Click it. The smilie will show up as a word. Once you submit your comment, it will change to that smilie. One thing I learned is that you have to insert your smilie while typing. You can't go back into the comment and insert it anywhere in the text.

Can't sleep. Too many thoughts running through my head, along with some anger. Been trying to get back to sleep for almost 3 hours. Have to be out early. My daughter has a soccer game up north and my son has baseball playoffs south. Can't do both, so we'll have to split. I'm going to try again to sleep. Catch you later!

Oh Stella, gone are days of juggling kids sporting fixtures altho I am still very much 'mums taxi service'. As a matter of fact I just got back from transport duty! Return of one borrowed child and delivery of another to an 18th BD party at a restaurant in the next town, luckily only 15 mins away but the round trip took nearly an hour all up. Phew, the things we do.

After I left here, was in the car with youngest and after telling her of this debate, it started all over again. Our children are being Americanised before our very eyes! Tho if she turns out to be anything like the ones I have met here, I'll be happy.
