I am getting better, actually remembered the where :>) without a cheat sheet. I have been tempted to make one, a flip card for each person, but that is too much like work!! and have not yet devised a system to save tidbits on the computer for fast refferal, too many other fun things to do now.

I see Gail has started a recipe page and has a good recipe for Tai Curried Prawns. Australians eat a lot of Tai food. In recent years our tastes have been influenced by so many immegrants from Asia and also Europe.

What flower is your avatar? love the pretty yellow color, and I am usually not overly fond of yellow , I do not buy yellow flowers, just not drawn to them i guess.

Congratulations MizT on another TOPP. You have been having a wonderful time making all the avatars for people. I am quite happy to stay with the flowers from my garden.
I have not gotten into You Tube as we are still on dial up (although we have a designated phone line for the pooters) and it is toooo slow to play them

The flower is a yellow Hawaiian hibiscus called Vasco I planted it in 1975 and still a very small bush but has very large plowers with a white centre.

OR anything else you would like if I can find it. I have made one for Gail, but she is too timid of computer ( gail, timid? find it hard to believe, but what she said) to send me her e-mail address yet!

I played with youtube a long time this morning, finding some 50's and early 60's music. I have a LONG list of music i am looking for, and it is hard to find video that early. Poor quality sometimes when you do find it! but fun fun, MY kind of music.

Well, i like the plowers. very nice. I thought a hibiscus. Do you grow Kangaroo paws? a friend sent me seed, but I have no place for 5 feet tall flowers yet, I am only doing containers and wold take a big one for those.

I am hoping to persuade Hubby to go to broadband when we get back from holidays. Would not cost much more than the extra phone line. The extra line comes from and 'ant box' which is very sensative to storms so we often loose the phones if a bad electrical storm is about and have to wait fro a technitian to come and fix them. The I will be able to have You Tube and also listen to what others are playing.

I do not have Kangaroo Paws growing. You can get some smaller ones and the leaves of the plant are not as tall, just the spikes of flowers and they generally do not get much over 3 feet. I think they would fit into a container about 18 inches across. They would not like a soil that was kept too damp though.

Sorry for the delay, phone call came and I could not get back. I might try the kanga paws then, I thought they were very nice when i saw them on a gardening how to show from california, they wer using them there. We might be too humid, but there are a ot of seed, and i can try a few at least.

I can leave out the water absorbing granules in the soil for them, add a bit more of our native sandy soil, and gravel, then it will drain nicely. Huumm, do I have an 18 inch pot? or do i see a road trip in my future??

ROLA, I just had the nicest e-mail from your son Steven! Tel him I said thank you, I did reply to him. I sent the mail on to Al, it is about computer stuff, moving things saved on AOL, so nice of S to look that up for me!

At least I do not have to worry about phone calls at this time of the morning!! I suppose I should try getting back to bed or I will never get up in the 'morning'. We have a Public Holiday to celebrate Queen's Birthday (ie Queen Elizabeth II of England, although her actual birthday is in April. IT was actually some long dead King's birthday in June I think and we still celebrate about that date!)

I can't believe you guys are up to page 130! WOW!! I was just helping hubby do the annual cleaning of the garage. (although I should be finishing the dining room!) But he takes everything out and hoses it down, cleans everything up and puts it all back in. It takes the entire day!! I'm taking a short break and eating lunch.

HI STELLA, oh my what a chore. but i see a little problem here. Hubby needs you to come help him clean the garage, but where was he when you cleaned the family room and the dining room???

I don't think I know that song MizT, at least not the title. My kids are always asking for the title of an old song on the radio and most of the time, I have no idea. I don't pay attention, I just listen. I won't have time to change mine for a while.

Just lost a post and was kicked out! I was just thinking the same thing today. He doesn't help me but he will be quick to critisize when it is getting down to the wire before his parents come for graduation on Friday!

I have to stop cleaning because youngest son has finals Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and he was supposed to be studying. I just found out he hasn't studied at all!

I think we're close to the next page so maybe I'll go for TOPP since I haven't had one in weeks.

And then I'll go kill youngest son!

There are 3 others, so we probably won't even notice that he is missing. hehehe
