#1Son -- the only one at home, #2 got married last year -- has made arrangements with a friend to go to the movies every Friday this month, so I don't cook, Hubby just went to pick up sandwiches.
SC is quite warm today, but low humidty 32% so not too bad. Wish the screen porch were finished; it woud be nice to sit out there and read the newspaper, etc. But, alas, that will have to wait for another time.

My mill used to do the same thing, tho she didn't eat apple butter (neither do we), so she would make it for the 'girl' I worked with to take home to her dad. I think appel strop is pretty much the same thing.

Oh I know you would enjoy the screen porch. If I go out about dusk must apply bug repelant. We have mosquitoes already.
