Stella, 24 people small??? how about 2 like the Jabiru, its maximum take off weight is only about 500kg (1100lb) with the two on board and the fuel and luggage (that's including, not extra)! now thats small, and a hole lot of fun.

FIL flew to Alaska one year with his club. They were given a checklist along with weight requirements. The only things I remember on the list was a heater, extra blankets and a bear gun.

Rola, I didn't know that licorice could be salty! The licorice we eat here is mostly sweet, with a fruity flavor.

Stella, I do a pretty good roller coaster ride. Nice push over the top (you float of your seat), then steep turn to the left about 3G (squeeze you in the seat).... great fun

My father hired a Cessna when I was a kid & flew us from Melbourne to Tasmania. Glad I was too young to realise what danger I was in I don't know how my mother coped!!!

Is is similar to horehound candy? Horehound is hard, touch salty and has a real strong flavor.

and we have the sweet licorice in Australia..

Is it maybe like salt water taffy? That is sweet with some salt.

My grandpa used to eat it. It must be a regional/German candy. I've asked others if they've ever had it and they look at me like I've lost my mind.

I haven't had salt water taffy in ages. We always got it when we when to the ocean. The vendors would make it on the boardwalk in front of you, pulling and stretching the taffy. The kids always got a kick out of it.

It is black licorice, except it is salty not sweet

I haven't seen horehound candy since I was a kid. Mom would give it to us for a cough. We have two kinds of licorice. The black is a very strong anise flavor. Red is slightly fruity. Hello, Becky, Stella and vdV.
