I haven't been to swift the last couple of days. At the doctor's yesterday and did yard work today. At least today is a good tired.

Yes that gardening can really tire you out!! You should sleep well tonight.

What have you been up to?

Have had a pretty quiet morning - did some housework, the minimum amount required - & that's about it. It is a gorgeous day here, cool but lovely & sunny so I really should be outside doing something, but I've just had lunch & I always visit sudokuland when I have my lunch.

I'm having a quiet afternoon, cos hubby, who is a keen cyclist, is out racing. My Saturday afternoons are usually quiet, unless I organise to catch up with a friend or something.

Sounds nice. It was close to 90 F here. Got most of the planting and weeding done in the am.

Well, I think I'm going to head off to bed and try and sleep in tomorrow. Must be tired, having trouble typing and spelling. Talk to you later.

Just did a quick conversion on 90F. Don't I wish it was that here right now. I love that sort of temperature - anything higher than that is getting too hot

One last post. It's not the temperature, we've had a lot of humidity and clean air warnings for the elderly and sick people.

Oh yes I hate humidity too. It doesn't get humid at all luckily in Canberra. What makes a clean air warning?

When there isn't enough rain or wind to clear the air of pollution. There's a haze in the air.

could be smoke, smog, polution

we have had the same, unhealthy for the elderly and sick catagory for way to long here

Earplugs help when you have a snoring husband. I have been using them for years & now I'm so used to them I use them even when I'm alone - which I don't like doing but even a small bit of noise bothers me now.

Becky, I have found an elbow in the ribs usually stops snoring. And since a friend told me that after her husband died, his snoring was what she missed the most, it's not being there reminded her that HE was not there, I have not minded mine snoring so much.

Yes, Jen is fine. If I can't get this email through (haven't done it yet) I am going to be sending an email to GrannieMo today, & I'm going to ask her to send my address to Rola.

I just usually stay up and watch the boob tube till I fall asleep. Wake up an hr. or two later, stagger back to bed and fall back asleep. If I jabbed him in the ribs, he'd probably say, 'What the h*ll was that for?'

Yes, I read about that around the world way of getting e-mails, I really hate you cold not get through, and it worries me a bit, what customers are not getting through also, you know?

Tell me what else you might like, what your interests a re, and i see if I can find something. I have fun playing with them. I need to make Becky one too!

My parents are terrible snorers, & they both now wear breathing apparatus thingies to bed (it helps the sleep apnoea) & hey presto problem gone. Last night I thought my hubby should get one because he definitely stops breathing while he's asleep.

BECKY I got that once or twice, and I said, FOR SNORING, and did not take long for him to learn, just turn over without waking up heheheh

OH JENNI, that sleep apnea can lead to heart problems, even heart attacks. they are not getting enough oxygen while stopped breathing and it can stress the heart. It would be good for the doc to be aware.

I just let him snore. He used to talk and laugh in his sleep. I'd just lay there snickering 'cause it didn't make any sense.

Yes MizT you're right about the emails not getting through. We have a private company at home as internet provider so that shouldn't be the problem. And I think I sent one email from work so that was a different provider.

OK, I am off to bed, no snoring here tonight. H e is still up on his computer, visiting You Tube, he is sooo happy I introduced him to that, had no idea he cold find so much good music on there. He has a wider range of likes in music than I do, he goes for th e heavy rock even

MizT, I think the doc was the one that suggested they go to this sleep apnoea place. They both have heart problems - Dad had a bypass about 7 years ago, & Mum had a heart attack 2 years ago, so they are regularly checked out.
