Went to give the garden a quick water. Still on water restrictions and can only water at specific times. Have been out to lunch today in a nice retaurant looking over a part of the harbour. It was a nice winters day, plenty of sunshine and probably reaching about 20c It is MIL's 93rd birthday tomorrow so a special treat for her.

Every time I get on this site I seem to scare everyone away. Or maybe I need to be around when it is time to TOPP and everyone is competing?

Just checking in, June. I'll try to come back but I'm at work, so can't predict when or how often I'll get to come back before i go home about 9pm.

Have just opened a Quilting Sudokuists page - it's under Clips.

Had a look at the Quilters page but I no longer have the patience for quilting. Sharon did some quilting back in her school days and just after but I do not think she has the time any more. I used to do embroidery but profer to sew on the machine these days.

CP, I will check out the quilting sudokuists, I do not do a lot anymore but still love to talk about it and plan quilts for 'someday'.

Let me find my chair and will sit a spell with you. How are you today? Was sunday a good day? I think we have less smoke today, a big rain system went through, and maybe it put out at least some of the fires in the swamps in Florida.

June what do you sew? Was it you making the skirt for the wedding? sorry I cannot remember and we do not have a search feature for me to go back and check .

Looks like nobody has been here for a while. Hubby and I went down to Colville yesterday. A little town in Washington 45 mins away from us. The kids stayed home. We had a very excellent lunch in a little restaurant there. We did some shopping. It was a very pleasant afternoon.

RENA maybe ccause posts are not getting through? I tried and off into cyber space it went and it was a very good comment too, with hearts and smilies and everything!

Yes MizTricia it was me making the skirt and I am pleased how it has turned out. A daughter yestrerday said she needs me to make about 20 'Abbotts' outfits for a 'Rock Eistedford' the school is putting on. She asked me early in the year but another teacher was to do them. She has changed her mind so I am next on the list. A bit daunting as this daughter does not live close for me to get the material etc from her and we go overseas in three weeks time. Looks like I go to her place next weekend and take my machines and we sew like crazy. At least we do not have to worry about overlocking seams etc.

That daughter is an art teacher, has 10 acres of land, horses, dogs ,cats, finches and HATES sewing. So you can see why I get the job!!

Good luck on your new project June...It'll keep you busy I'm sure. Hello to one and all. Never know who or if I'll catch up with folks, but its getting hard to converse. The other day Chrisi, Becky and I were talking, but I started to lose everyone. Others have had similar experiences...go figure! Becky, I did get your response on cleaning the keyboard thanks. I haven't tried it yet, but will soon. Thanks for letting me know on my page.
