Suzy - We tease him about a lot, that's what happens when you're the youngerst like he was. He now has 5 children and tries to swear us to secrecy about his childhood - he tells them he was perfect, we tell them otherwise!! Hehehe!

Oh, and good morning to you Rolanda. Weather must be better in WA than here if you can hang clothes out on the line.

We all - sis, bro and I, our spouses and Aunty Vi, packed up a picnic lunch yesterday and took it up to the nursing home where Mum is. They set up a special area, where we would not be interrupted by the other residents. We had a lovely visit, just enough food. Mum enjoyed it immensely AND miraculously let us go without a problem. That topped off a nice visit.

Good Afternoon SA8, hope you are well.
My computer decided to keel over today so do not know when I can catch up, if it is not fixable think I will use it as an anchor on the boat.
Still no time to catch up on all the pages.

I'm on hold... forgot to call yesterday to tell those who must be obeyed that I had driven through a toll thingy. Of course there are no options for that! Have to wait to speak to a person...

Hi everyone! Thanks for reminding me about the wet stuff that needs to get dry!
Well, I'm bandaged on one knee and strapped up on the opposite ankle after a long healthy walk in the park yesterday - one of those little slips that can be so disasterous! My knee was slashed by gravel (ouch!) but it was the ankle that had me holding my breath - we were a long way from the carpark, and I didn't think Rob could carry me! Breathed a sigh of relief when I found that everything was still moving properly, then we hobbled back. Rob raced out and bought an ankle strap thingy, liniment and bandages - he's a gem! On the plus side we had a nice long walk, in the park, in the sunshine - it was lovely!

Judy, ouch!! I bet it was a slow walk back to the carpark. I hope it is feeling better today.
I learned something new when Ebob turned her ankle a couple of weeks ago. I looked into taping it for when she played sport - see all the athletes doing it. (hehe I called her an athlete!!) The baseball people didn't recommend it! They said it might reduce the chances of it happening again, but the ankle will be weaker - better to tough it out. We did get the gym coach to tape it for her when she was having trouble, and she said it was amazing. She thought it would reduce her movement, but it didn't, just stopped it hurting. Of course it was so blasted complicated I don't know that I could duplicate it!! Stirrups, anchors and a heel something or other...

Heidi, I think cheap chocolate tastes like wax. Maybe white Lindt chocolate would be nummier than regular white chocolate? Hmmmm, if we had after easter sales here (nothing left to put on sale!) I'd test out that theory.

Heh Suzy, I'm often tempted by those white chocolate "melts" when Laura's baking, but one taste leaves your mouth feeling all icky! Someone gave me a small chockie egg (Cadbury I think), but after the Lindt it just tasted nasty!

Heidi - I totally agree - white choccie is a misnomer. Chocolate is, well, chocolate not white!! (Sorry Rolanda - each to his/her own)
Oooh Judy - not good - hope the knee and ankle mend soon.

Heidi, we were walking in the sunshine in a large park with walking trails and bike paths - it was really nice, up to the last half-hour! Rob rides there a lot, but I'd never been - he pointed out places of interest as we went - "This is where I crashed the bike and broke my collar-bone", "this is where I broke my arm..." etc. I guess I can add my own memories now ... ;)

Hi Rolanda! You know how your foot sometimes just turns under you? I ended up in the gravel with blood and gore everywhere ... (The whole saga's about halfway up this page.) I've had nasty foot and ankle injuries before, so it was one of those "Oh no, not again!" moments. However think I got off ok this time - maybe a few interesting scars? I'm hobbling, but I'm still standing!
