Broni, I have only been out on one private boat and loved it. Other than that I have been limited to Ferries and hydrofoils... Definitely not the same thing!

I'm really glad that your boat is out and about and you are enjoying it. Are you still going to sell it or are you enjoying it to much for that?

I'm trying Rolanda, I'm trying...

Got a good way to show the teachers showed extensive topic specific pedagogical knowledge? I'm sure they did, I just can't remember how!

Suzy/Shirl - yes I did think I was done with BAS etc until I realised if I left it up to you-know-who it wouldn't be done at all.
Eaten that Bunny yet Rolanda - yum yum.
I'm still not here.

But I've got so many new avatars, I want to show another.
I'm not a cat person, except for this kind.

Would this one be easier because the business is just starting up and hasn't had full on activity yet, or harder because of all the start-up stuff?

BTW, I wouldn't know where to start putting one of those together. I'm feeling very intimidated by your skills here...

Will still be selling it Zusy, a lot of good memories on there (too many sometimes) but I need to move on and get something I can use without help.
Wow looked up pedagogical and still non the wiser.
Cyn reckon you can train that cat to do the BAS?

Broni, even the people teaching us about pedagogy can't agree on what it means! I have come to think of it as a way to teach so the people you are teaching actually learn.

CYN, I do wear my hats, and I chose to get the biggest brightest colored hats I could find. If people are gonna look anyway, I will give them something to look at. Ask Tami and her friend, I modeled my spring green straw hat with the flower on it for them on Skype hehehe.

MizT, now I wish even more that you had Skype when I was at June's!! Sigh.

BTW, I've decided to make this my lunch break so I can play guilt free for a little while...

Suzy, having your students really learn? Is this an innovative, secret, super way of teaching? OH MY! But they just might have a unique idea there.

Enjoy your lunch Suzy. You need a web cam, Al found me one for very inexpensive price. It is a lot of fun. I love it with my quilt group, we can have 'show and tell' any time we wish.

I am off to the land of nod. Good to chat with everyone. See you on the flip side.

Broni - when this business builds up properly and if you're still looking for bookkeeping work - we'll have a job for you. My daughter started doing bookkeeping from home and then switched ideas and is now studying Health and Nutrition. She got 29/30 for her first assignment. Not bad?
MizT - I love hats - on other people. Even though I live in an area where we should always wear hats outside, I never have. But don't worry I avoid the sun as best I can.

Oooh, ooooh! Just remembered something for Heidi. When I went to the pet shop yesterday, they had Gouldian (sp) Finches and they are even more beautiful than in the pictures. Got a couple of grandies coming for a school-holiday sleepover tomorrow, will take them for a look. They'll love 'em.

Wish I'd seen this article before MizT went to bed...

It's about a strip that shows when you are getting sunburnt. I'm not sure about it, as I can get burnt in just a few minutes, but as an educational tool maybe...

Could be a three way tie for procrastinating today. Feel lost without my computer, wonder if the boarder would mind if I updated his messenger and installed my webcam?

When my grandies come over we have to drive them around looking for animals. There are camels kept in a paddock nearby, then we go to see the pelicans on the beach, then we drive through back roads at dusk looking for wallabies. There's a place that breeds peacocks. And of course the usual cows, horses, sheep, goats and donkeys in the farm paddocks. Such excitement - then they come home here to Jewel.

I need to go out and do my last chores for the night. I have to be up early. I need to load up a steer, then weigh 3 lambs and load them in the trailer, too, then take all 4 to the processor before 9 am..... a 45 minute drive. Then get back here and do final tidying before the tour arrives here at 2:30.

Then there's this sulphur-crested cockatoo, Heidi - hope he shows up OK. Both of these birds are regular visitors, along with rainbow lorikeets in my garden daily.

I grew up with a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo..... one of the last ones exported from Australia before the 1960 ban. I still have a lovely scar on my thumb where he bit me and his beak got stuck in the bone. It was the ONLY time he ever bit me. We were great friends after that.

I think a lot of us have got the odd scar from a cockatoo or galah. But they are beautiful, squalky birds.

Hehe! Heidi, think I should still ask first.
Cyn, like your cocky but any galah could do the BAS! Do you know what sort of bird has a black tail and back, grey down the sides and white underneath? They have the most beautiful song but the cheeky buggers keep on pinching Bella's food even when I stand there, must get a photo.(but then would have to load my camera software on here too hehe!)
