Robert has health issues, which he tries to ignore. He has epilepsy, and had a bad car accident some years back, so has a metal skull cap, among other things. He's not actually supposed to be doing physical work, but he doesn't believe it. I have yet to see any limitations. He's perfectly willing to "do it all".

I plan on sorting the sheep, then going back to bed.
Well, nothing is getting done while I sit here. Finished my "healthy" brekkie..... Chocolate chip cookies dunked in coffee.

HEIDI, how is Daisy today? Did she settle in OK? where do you have her?

Hope you get the sheep sorted, not a job I would want to do, or could do.

Good morning all. Just stopped in for a quick hello. Younger beastie boy was just picked up for an all day birthday party. It's just him and the birthday boy. They are going to an indoor amusement park called "Wannado City" His mom will return the boy around dinner time. Older beastie boy has a party this afternoon. I will drop him off, chat with the parents for a while and then go shopping.

I'm back. I sorted out 3 young ewes, so they can chose the 2 they like best. They only wanted solid black ewes, so thats what I'm giving them.

I've had little Daisy in a rabbit hutch. Since she's doing so well, I decided to give her the run of the pigeon flight area during the day. That's 12 feet by 16 feet, and grassy. I'll put her back in the hutch at night.

Heidi, does Daisy stay outdoors? I guess you're warm enough there. My kids always wanted a bunny but we heard they chew through everything, especially electrical wires. Daisy sounds so cute!

Her hutch is in an open ended shed, so it's sheltered from the elements, but she has fresh air. The pigeon pen gives her sunshine and exercise.

I hope Daisy remains easy to catch and transfer from hutch to pigeon run. Sounds like she is one happy bunny.

Greetings to heidi, Tami, Stella, and good nite to Broni.

We are delaying out trip to the craft show. Nice big rain shower headed this way. We thought it would be here and gone by lunch time, but it has slowed down, has not arrived yet. Might mess up our entire day, DRATS!

Sneaking in to let you know that I have posted a group photo on my page...the novelty of having an internet connection has kept me up far too late...and now I am off to bed before everyone tells me off!! Haven't done any reading....there are heaps of pages that I will probably never catch up [you have all been chatting up a storm] I hope you have all been well.
Fingers crossed that we will still be connected when I get up in the morning...

We are back from our arts and crafts show. Lots of people there, but neighbors who set up as vendors said they would have come out better if they had stayed home. Everyone was looking, no one was buying. We started looking at the people walking out of the park, no one had purchases in hand.

the only person I heard mention selling out of anything was a food vendor from a local BBQ. They sold out and closed down by 2 pm, just after we got our sandwiches.

A lot of things I would have liked to buy, but like most everyone there, we also just looked. No one seems to have any money for extras these days.

I did get a few photos of our little river and park, and some of the carvings into old dead tree trunks there. I hope to get them up in a few days. At the moment, I could use a nap. Hip became a bother, but sweet hubby walked to the car and came back to the entrance to pick me up. that saved me a rather long walk. He does nice things like that on occasion, guess that is why I put up with him

It stayed heavily overcast today, radar showed rain going over, but never made it to the ground. A couple of times we felt a sprinkle or 2, lasting less than a minute. We were lucky. Temps were on the cool side. People manning thier booths were using unusual things for shawls. One lady wrapped herself in an extra table cloth she used for her displays.

there was some pottery, some baskets and some fabric art I was really interested in. I am wondering where that fabric art person sells usually, to get the prices she had on her items! I did see a few Ideas there, interesting and easy to make.

Thanks for posting the photo, Bean. Loved it!!!!!

I just woke up from a rather lengthy, and much needed nap. Now I have to get ready to go out to dinner with my SIL and BIL and IH. I think I'll bring Daisy in, first. It's become quite overcast.

Morning all!
MizT, the show sounds wonderful. I know what you mean about no one buying though. I recently went to a local market/swap meet and didn't buy a thing, though I saw several things I would have liked.

I didn't sleep well last night, worrying about the paper I guess, so I have been up for a couple of hours trying to get it finished. Unfortunately my wrist is making that hard - as is brain death caused by a lack of sleep!! I have made a good start though and WILL finish by the end of the day.

Hi everyone. Dylan just got back home from his party. he was at the indoor amusement park from 10:30 this morning until about 7:00 at night. He had pizza and cookies for lunch and french fries, a pretzel and a milk shake for dinner. The joys of being a kid.

Grandie visits finally over and we are exhausted to say the least. It's lovely to have them and I wouldn't change it for a minute but I have to admit that at my age, I do get tired.
