Feeling a little under the weather on this beautiful Saturday morning. I'm supposed to go pick up Ian from the May Day soccer tournament. He went to watch his team play. He can start practicing and then playing next week. Hopefully, he'll take it slow. The doc said the toe will still be weak at the point where they had to shave the bone.

Hope you're still celebrating Bean! Remember, lots of water will help keep the hangover away! hehe

Stella! At least you have nice weather for the tournament. It's pouring here. Thunderboomers scheduled for later today.

Heidi, I saw your weather, yuck. We are forecast some rain and thunderstorms also, but at the moment they are north of us, moving due east. I hope they stay up north of us till much later today. Al has to move our storage building today.

How is your hand now Heidi? Meg bit me once (she was in pain)when she had hurt her back.I didn't go to the Dr until days later and by then it was infected.Hope yours is OK.

The hand is healing nicely. I had washed the wounds out immediately, and packed in the ointments. The swelling is going down, and I can use the hand again.
Even better, the fever is subsiding. No point in going to the Doctor now.

Heidi and Gil, my sympathy go to you on losing your MIL/Mother. It was a shame that you couldn't have gone too Heidi but it was good that you had messages passed to MIL and received them back.

Heidi, I am SOOO sorry to hear of the passing of Gil's Mother. What a blessing that she was lucid to the end and was able to share her thoughts and wishes with her family! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Gil and the rest of his family as you all deal with this difficult time. May she RIP!

Broni and all those enjoying Keith and Lynne's company, I hope you're all having a wongerful time!

Lady had some fun right before the KY Derby. While I was watching coverage, 6 of my peafowl decided to come in the yard, and look through the window at me watching TV. Lady stared back at them, nose to beaks through the picture window. She was shaking with excitement!

Heidi, you should have taken a picture. That sounds like it would have been a great shot.
Hubby's friend just left. He was playing on my pooter and fixed a few things. He will come back in a few weeks and solve all my problems. Computer repairs and all it costs me is a home-cooked meal.

It's almost 2 am here, so I'm calling it quits, too. Gil is planning on heading home tomorrow. They've set the memorial service for a week from tomorrow.

Heidi I hope after all the emotion and stress of the last 24hours that you are able to wind down, put your brain in neutral and sleep. It can be so hard at a time like this. You and Mary have both been in my thoughts such a lot.
I hope Gil is able to rest before getting on the road to come home and has an uneventful trip.

It has been a huge weekend, and next week promises to be full on. I have a good feeling of achievement, but I'm exhausted. Think I will go and spend some quality time with hubby and a glass of wine. Hi everyone.
Have not stopped since we got home. A wedding yesterday and had Laura all day today. Have to umpire at bowls tomorrow (May give the game a miss on Tuesday), Will have Laura again on Wednesday and Sharon told her I will take her into the city as Sharon has a meeting there!!
AND I thought I would have an easy week??????

I checked Skype a couple of times during the afternoon but neither Keith or Broni were on line. I understand what it is like when you are having a good time and cannot get to the computer. I saw Keith's photo on his page so they certainly were having a good time.

K has put a couple of photos up of today's fare. Another good time was had by all.

Good morning Sudokuland, sorry I wasn't around much yesterday. Laptop decided to act weird...Darrell is working on it for me. This pooter is in the basement, so I will be checking periodically to see who's around. I have 19 ateps between the top & bottom of the house, great exercise, you'd think I'd be thin!!!! Note from a stranger...Got to visit with the gang at Broni's yesterday - you are right June, they were having a wonderful time. Was nice to see everyone face to face.
Kathi (Katitude) is coming to SF later this month - she was at Broni's - Keith and Lynne will be heading down for our lunch date.
