Just had a quick browse thru Keith's pics and have to tell you a funny story when picking them up from the airport. When Teresa and I got to the gate I donned my finery and was holding up the placard, the whole bloody plane unloaded with me standing there looking like the dag I am, then they shut the exit doors. Teresa looked at me and said "well what is plan B?" I replied I don't even have their phone number! Just about everyone had left by then and here I am still standing there looking like a git when they opened the doors again to let the plane crew out and way down the back of the corridor I see one last couple Whew! it was them.

Good Morning, anybody got some matchsticks to keep my eyes open.. Got home and into bed 1.30amish. Slept dreadfully! Like Suzanne I dont sleep well, and last night(this morning) it was terrible.
Mum is ok, I just made the 'wakeup' call, and she was already up.

Bit of a laugh for you here.... I always thought it was spelled whimp, so when you replied with wimp, I googled...

Suzy the drive from Melboure is now only about 10 hours. Once you are on the outskirts of Melbourne there is not another traffic light till you are about 4 km from here (using your toll card). Especially easy if you have cruise control and two drivers. Ken and I drove back last year and they have even completed more road works since then.

Suzi I'm not at all sure... Vici would really like to get up your way to meet you and June but with the proposed Halloween party right in the middle of her visit I'm not sure how we are going to fit it all in...will have to wait until we have sorted out Lachies timetable etc... We haven't really discussed the limitations of the time constraints factored in with the distances that need covering. I don't think I could do it in one day anymore. That means the minimum time we would need for a turnabout trip would be 5 days - 4 days on the road and 1 there which defeats the purpose...all that traveling and not see Sydney...therein lies the problem...there isn't enough time before the party and although there is time after the party it doesn't leave us much time to see Victoria because that is when I wanted to take her to the Grampians....Otways... Great Ocean Road....etc....
Decisions...DECISIONS!!
Will let you know when I have done some more work on her travel itinerary...if I win tattslotto in the meantime we will be flying up!!

Hi June...thanks for that update on the travel times. That will make it easier to work out what we are doing. Must make sure Vici gets an international license and check our insurance coverage to see if she can drive our car while she is here. I am really out of the habit of long distance traveling...

I'm so glad Heidi finally figured out the VIP. After so many cute clues from everyone I even figured it out before Bean disclosed it....Great job and great fun guessing everyone...
I think I'll sneak into one of Vici's bags and end up at the party too.... Ladies be well warned...that Vici is soooo funny...the trip and touring will be spectacular....enjoy everyone....
It was great reading about the happy times shared today and yesterday...My day was wonderful too.I will soon be off to Vegas in a little less than two weeks....Life is good and BUSY...Peace to all!

Hello, Everyone! I am surprised to know that I know who the VIP guest is. I vaguely recall that I may have made a rambling guess one late night, but I'm not sure who I guessed. However, I think I have seen some recent posts that may have cleared up any question. All I can say for sure is that it's not me, though I would love to be headed in that direction!
