Good evening lovely SA8 people and Happy Mothers Day to all you mothers - I hope you all had/have a wonderful day. I had my best Mothers Day in a couple of years with BOTH my kids and their families over this morning (got a bit teary). We 3 mums (Daughter DIL & I) did as little as possible and were waited on. Lovely.
To those for whom today ws tinged with sadness - Gail and Heidi in particular, you were in my thoughts, I hope you found solace in your family and your memories.

Have had only a quick read through the posts and can't remember everything I wanted to say.
I know who the VIP guest is and am willing to divulge for a fee! Hehehe!
Nola - isn't the Town of 1770 just the most lovely place. I visited for the first time about 2 years ago. I want to have a nice relaxing holiday there one day soon.
Rolanda - sorry to hear that your Mum hasn't been well. Hope she feels better once she is home.
MizT - sorry about the migraine - hope it's cleared up by the time you get to read this. Hugs from someone who knows how it feels.

Thank you sweetie, we all got through it ok here. I thought about her a lot and sent a message to my siblings early this morning sending special wishes to them all. Unfortunately, no-one got their messages because our phone has been cut off! Must have been three nanoseconds late paying it! Bill(Dad) was in a worried flap when he could not get me on the landline or my mobile, which are the same acct, and got through to us in a very convoluted way! Everyone was thinking the same way. The day was honoured quietly.

BEAN, I guessed, really, I guessed. Rolanda did not tell me who would be visiting you. She asked if I knew, I said I thought so, she said she knew who so tell. I told, I was right. I am a good guesser sometimes.

Thank you for all the get well wishes. Head is much better this morning. Brain just feels sore, bruised, like someone took it when I was not looking and played basketball with it. I can handle sore, a Tylenol will probably fix that.

Julie, the bonfire sounds fun. I hope you enjoyed it even without S'Mores. We once had neighbors who liked a bonfire on weekends. Some of them were large, the fire and the number of persons there. Held out in a pasture, trying to burn some trees that fell in a storm.

Suzy, Ebob is multi-talented, making you earrings. We would like to see when finished please. Huumm, if she went into business selling them they could be Ebobs EarBobs hehehe

GAIL, whatever happened to our children? They were taught better, witnessed our Moms being pampered by us. Why did they not learn the proper way to treat a Mum on Mother's day? Cold coffee and you had to cook? Uncalled for, really.
