Cyn, I will speak with one of my school guidance counselors tomorrow and ask her for advice. Part of her job is to deal with the "problem" children and help them to turn around. I am sure she will have some good advice for you. I will email you her suggestions. Between her, Suzy and anyone else, I am sure they can come up with a solution.

Afternoon all!
Running around like a lunatic today. I think I might have found a part we need to register the car. Not easy to do with a 24 year old car! Unfortunately it's an hour from here. Hubby is making phone calls as there is a guy who lives and works down there who comes up here fairly regularly who MIGHT agree to pick it up for us.... crossing fingers here! It's not the end of the world if he can't, but will save me a lot of time and petrol....

Hello SA8. Just posted this on Easy and will post here and in What's On.
As the grandmother of a child with epilepsy (7yo Emily - check out my gallery for a pic of her with a huge frog), I would like to point out that tomorrow March 26 is World Epilepsy Day - Purple Day. Wear purple to support this cause started by a 9yo Canadian girl named Cassidy Megan, who in her own words said -'I want people to know that if you have epilepsy you aren't alone'.
The website for Epilepsy Qld follows but there will be relevant websites in most states and countries.
http://www.epilepsyqueensland.com.au/site/purpleday
We are having a lunch with family and friends.
Thank you for reading this, from Emily as well as myself.

Just another comment about Epilepsy Day - Emily wanted to know why it couldn't be Pink Day 'because I like pink better than purple' - she had to be told that someone got there first!!

And thank you again for your advice yesterday - I feel more positive now that I can offer some solutions. Maybe Tami will be able to offer some more.

Good EARLY morning, fellow Sudokuaholics!
AARGH! It's nearly 2 a.m. and I just got here for the day. Still no time to read - maybe next week after our taxes are finished? I hope everyone is well! Take care, Friends! I hope to be back soon with some time for reading.

Good morning all! Another chilly start to the day, 24F, but we are supposed to get up to 50! Yeah! We've been running around 10 degrees below normal. Sunny and beautiful day for my 6 hour drive to Boston and back. Bryana is still not up yet. Her last morning to sleep in.

Ian has to have an operation on his toe. I think when he hurt it originally and didn't move it for so long, a calcium(?) growth built up on top of his big toe which prevents the ligament which bends his toe from moving, and the sesamoid bones(ball of his foot) is still tender, so he has to wear a big boot. They haven't called for the date of the operation yet. I hope it is soon so he can get back to normal faster.

Hi, I'm back home with Indi now. She seems to be better trsained than we were led to believe, in fact she is rather good. On the lead she needs training so we will probably find some classes for her to attend.

Stella, I imagine you have mixed emotions about Ian's diagnosis. It is worrisome he has to have surgery, but it is good they can do a little surgery and correct the problem. Do you think it will be outpatient surgery? Do let us know when it will be.
Brenda, so happy Indi is home with you and being a good girl!
Heidi, our wind has moderated, we have gentle showers today. I read we are in for rain for 4 days, and possibility of severe t storms and tornadoes by the weekend. March came in like a lion, it should be going out like a lamb, we should file a complaint.
Stella, safe trip to you and Bryanna.
Nola, how are the twins? Is the one out of the hospital yet? Will you be spending your off days helping Mom to cope?
Wear Purple Thursday for Cyn's grandi, I can manage that and no washy or slidy thing required. My clean favorite purple top is cotton spandex and comes off the line ready to wear!
Gail, I dislike the monotony of cooking again and again. But with the general economy today, I am thankful I have a place and food to cook! I will be making meat loaf today. Might mix it up now and ready for oven tonight. With my finding the 3 color peepers and onions frozen, again, it will be easy enough.
Suzy, the weather change caught up with me yesterday, most achey, and pain meds make me groggy. I shall have a groggy 3 days I imagine, till these fronts are gone and my body back to norm. Thanks for remembering and asking, You are a sweetie.

Hi MizTricia!
Lucky sure has his own mind. Last night, he decided that he didn't want to sleep on the bed with me, so he jumped off and spent the night loose in the house. And he didn't have a single accident!!!!!!

Wanted to change avatars so I could don some purple (well, this is as close as I have) for Cyn. I LOVED that Emily wanted it to be "Pink Day" instead of "Purple Day" - what a cutie!
Stella - thinking good thoughts for Ian and hoping the surgery takes care of everything for him.

It's out to the yard for me today and I probably won't be able to post again until Friday as I have a packed day tomorrow. But it is fun stuff - taking a friend to lunch and a movie (I'm sorry...pulling a "Gail" tomorrow!) for her birthday. I'd love to see Duplicity (did you like it Stella?) but it will be the birthday girl's pick!

Hi all,
Brenda, glad you have Indi home, should make a great pal for Callie and the family.
Stella, have a safe trip.Good news about Ians foot, hope the surgery goes well.
Cyn,I haven't got a single thing in the wardrobe which is purple.I might get something for next year.
Kailah is home, they let her go because she had a bottle and the temps were spiking at lower degrees.Last night she drank and ate making Mummy very happy.
The move into their place had been delayed since neither Mum or Dad had much sleep for 2 nights.I have 3 days off work now and will help them unpack.Just hope the other twin doesn't get the virus now.
