I put the lights and garland up today. I have to buy some ornaments this weekend to put up on Monday. I am also going to ask the students to make ornaments to put on the tree.

We are out of whack with our shopping week and their is nothing in the pantry so I have to go to the stupormarket and start from scratch.

Brenda, the lawn mowers are horses. These cows belong to someone in the area and he takes them on 'walks' to feed them. Any paddock he can get them into is fair game... I saw him once and told him that the area at the back of my property - the 120m of thinly spread trees - could really do with a clean out!

I had to do that recently. We had decided we needed to clear out the freezer and the cupboards to make sure we ate all the stuff that was close to it's use by date before it expired. Cost me a fortune to refill!!

Yep, Lizzy... I feel the same way. I can't wait to meet him. I've been told that Lannie is a really sweet gentleman. I'm so fortunate to be able to help him and the others.

So not here - doing lots of ffuts today so my house is tidy and presentable tomorrow and my grandies don't walk in and think - Oh, Nanny is sooo messy!
First thing to go is this laptop - into a cupboard until Monday. Means I have to use the big computer and go to the office. I've got lazy and use the laptop on the breakfast bar!

Isn't it simply glorious outside ladies. I wish I could just spend the afternoon pottering 'arind the grinds'!

I'm having a great time doing NOTHING right now!! Just listening to Christmas carols, and getting delightful whiffs from the kitchen. Corned beef and spinach souffle'. Maybe apple puffs for dessert. That'll be ready in 10 minutes.
