It turns out that Tami's uncle works for a cruise line, so he can get us a deal on a great cruise next year. We just need to plan well in advance for dates and numbers.

Hi, Vici! I would love to take a cruise in the South Pacific! Unfortunately, it is not in my budget!!! Since Jaime no longer travels, I cannot justify spending so much money on myself! Plus which, I don't think there are many SP cruises of less than 14 days. And I really can't be gone more than a week. In any case, if that is what the majority want, that's terrific! I will just have to pass. Thought you should know, however, that two Aussies (Bean and Gail) have already told me that they were interested in doing something Stateside. Bean, of course, would prefer to do the Mexican cruise since she'll be on the West Coast sometime next year anyway. I have not heard from Gail yet regarding the cruise, but ever since she realized that FionaFest was THIS year and not NEXT year, she's been hinting that she'd like to participate in something in the States next year. Judy (San Diego) and Tom have never been to the Caribbean, so that is their first choice, but they are open to anything! As long as I can keep my expenses to around $1,000-$1,500, I'll be happy anywhere. Steerage, anyone???

Thanks very much foryour birthday wishes. Glad to hear you had a great trip to the USA. My daughter's partner has just applied for a transfer in the Navy to where ever they are building naval ships in Spain. if they go, I might get to visit. I've no idae where it is but I supposeitmust be on the coast.

Thank you Vici for you kind words about my photographs. I love Riverdance, so I thought I would put it up on my page with the Irish theme. My friend's daughter is an Irish dancer and she is a wonder to watch, so talented. I stayed with her family in Ireland...it is a beautiful place.

Hi Vici -- Thanks for your kind comments about my pics! The rose breasted grossbeak was a bird we banded - and then released. Yes, my hubby's hand was inside that bag (to protect it from the awsome beak).
