Hi Gath, today is our (US) Thanksgiving Day, and I would like to thank you. You have made a miracle happen, An international community that somehow is close knit. I found that out in the last San Francisco meeting. Dear friends whom I have met here when met in person just seemed like a continuation of that friendship. Gath, you always do so many wonderful things for all of us and improve the site. I would like to make a request, if you don't mind. You undoubtedly noticed that Gail (I think) started a Forum page about recycling Smilies. It has been visited over 600 times, but the last I checked my comment (#11) was the last one on the page.

Her suggestion was to have a way to retire smilies, such as seasonal or holiday ones, and be able to bring them back the next time they're needed (rather than delete and resubmit later). My suggestion is to expand that to avatars as well! Would it be possible to introduce FOLDERS to personal avatar and smilie pages, so that we can organize and simplify what has become unwieldy for many? For example, I would make a folder for Christmas avatars, snowflake avatars, Halloween avatars, Thanksgiving avatars, etc. Even submitting them all at the same time does not insure that they will come up near related avatars, so that there's a need to scroll up and down. On occasion, I have submitted an avatar that you had already approved for me, but I couldn't find it in the approved list.

I don't know if developing folders is possible, but it would certainly help many of us organize avatars and smilies! Thank you for considering my request!

Hi, Gath! It's been a while since I took the time to say, "Thank you," for this great site! I really appreciate it, including all the great sections and add-ons, etc.

I have a question for you. A while back someone started a Forum page requesting that you develop some way for us to sort smilies and avatars, rather than having to scroll down through ever-increasing collections of them. Will you be able to develop something like that? It would certainly make things easier! Thanks!
