Who is Bruce the DJ?

Ahh, of course they are hehehe.

Bruce the DJ is a big yellow smilie of a guy, with a turntable and wearing headphones. Couple of the guys use it to introduce thier you tube selection of the day. someone else had a smiley playing guitar, so I had to find something different.

I am doing oldies but goodies at the moment, so I found some vinyl and a Music player of the day.

So when will you announce the new youtube & use your new smilie - I would like to see it. And do you change your youtube every day?

I will try to change it daily now I am ding the oldies, I have LOT and should be looking up a LOT more too. I found a great reference listing the songs i love. And Al helps me with who did the original, the most popular and what years. he remembers things like that!!

There were a lot of 'one hit wonders' during that time, groups or singles that had one song that made the top ten for a bit and they could never do it again. It is the music of my earlky teen to young adult years, and I still love it.

MizT, would love to hear some Gene Pitney and Four Seasons. My sister had their albums and used to play them when she wasn't home.

Poor Gath has been really busy fixing things lately. As more and more people come on board, seems to be more and more glitches. i am seeing 2, 3 and 4 new members here a day, keeps us busy going to welcome them, and I miss some at that.

I am a little bit slow at typing so my posts take ages to go through. Not that I'm a slow typer, just that I keep getting interrupted. And I insist on writing long posts.

The band was from New Philadelphia, OH (about 30 miles from my hometown). Met them right before their song became popular when they played at a place called the Mustang.

MizT, I have wasted my whole morning at work on this site today. I have a mailing list I should be doing - I have to print out 50 envelopes, with the names I have put into mail merge on Word, & that is such a mind numbing job i have been putting it off.

I created a monster when I showed Al YouTube. He always thought it was silly teenager's home videos, and had NO idea there was this much music on the You Tube. He loves his music, was a DJ one semester while in college at a station in the smaller town he lived in growing up.

We have started havng a music date one night a week, and listen to You Tube Music now, although he has a lot of music, this we can find JUST the song we want with a few keystrokes, usually :>)
