Just now submitting avatars for Mother's Day. Will they be approved on time?

If the Mother's Day avatars don't get approved, I guess I can continue with more from my floral arrangement series. Wasn't Gath going to work out some way for us to sort avatars and/or smilies into folders?

I think I better go get some ffuts done. I'll drop by later.

Rolanda, is Mum coming to your house from airport? I think you mentioned you might have her there. Are you in the bog swamp with scissors and fabric? I hope to get MSN back on this computer soon, have been missing having a few words with you occasionally.

MSN would have been back already if I remembered my password and could sign in. It is stored on my old puter. Al said soon he might get my hard drive into this box, then I hope MSN will recognize me and let me back in!

Wishing everyone an early Happy Mother's Day. My mom gave me a great present. She has the little beastie boy for a sleepover. When hubby gets home from work, we will be going out to dinner. Big beastie will be home late Saturday night, just in time to wish me a good day.

Gail: Nope, haven't tried Valerian, was using melatonin, think it's ineffective now...willing to try anything after 5 days straight!

Suzanne... Celestial Seasonings has a variety of herbal tea called Sleepytime Extra. The Extra is Valerian. It works well, yet isn't heavily medicated. I get it at Walmart.

Thanks Heidi!! I used to dring the sleepytime tea, think I still have some, worth trying again. If it doesn't work, I'll try the extra strength

Not much happening here today - cool and damp, and we got up late (yeah, we're just plain lazy!)
I have to do some serious cleaning (I've been very slack lately) or I'll be embarrassed when the kids come tomorrow. Have to go out in the evening, as Laura's going to visit boyfriend's Mum at lunchtime. Seems to get more complicated all the time ... But I'm sure we'll have a nice time - and, most importantly, I won't have to clean up afterwards! ;)

I'm off to bed, too, though I don't know if I'll get much sleep. The rain is back, and I expect more thunder-boomers in a little while. And when there are thunder-boomers, there are scared dogs.
I, personally, enjoy thunderstorms. A friend and I used to put on a recording of thunderstorms while one was happening live. We'd order a pizza, then turn the volume WAY up. When the delivery guy showed up, he'd freak, 'cause the storm was much more severe inside than outside. We'd then happily sit and munch on pizza, while watching the lightning displays.

Julie - the youngun had to go shopping and I couldn't take her since it was for you know what! I'm glad I went. Ebob has improved so much!! She only had one strike today, everything else was either a ball, a foul, or a hit. Amazing! It was great to see the improvement.

As soon as I got home from baseball I called our visiting VIPs and went over and had coffee with them! We're going out for chinese for dinner tonight. Yay! The best thing about sudoku is the people you meet.

I missed a bunch of posts... wonder what happened? Maybe I forgot to turn the page?

Stopping in to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day!

Busy day yesterday picking up Bryana. Hit rush hour traffic all the way home(3 1/2 hours) and a couple of accidents that required detours. A lot of people were traveling for Mother's Day weekend! Off this morning to the movies to celebrate mother's day and then to the Tulip Festival in Albany(if it's not raining). Have a great day and weekend everyone!
