Ahhh, DUH, I am dense today Heidi! Brain is working a bit better than it was last night, but not much. I am sure if I had heard you SAY that, I would have got it!

Maybe we all need to get a "that's a joke" smilie. Sometimes people cannot tell if I am joking either. that is why I use so many hehehe's in my conversations.

I enjoy so many different kinds of books, some people think I am a bit eccentric. Others know it for a fact hehehe.

Hello. Haven't been here for a while. Haven't read any either. I hope everyone is well. It looks like winter will never end here. Been very cold lately which is not normal for this time of year. Helping my mom clean the trailer one last time later today. New owner takes possession tomorrow. Take care and stay safe.

MizT, I wish I could read a lot of different books. I get stuck on some and just can't get into them. Says the person who is trying to get Ebob to expand her circle of authors...

Pi day is celebrated by mathematicians and math teachers. Since it is Saturday this year, we celebrated today. We made pi caterpillars. You start with a circle, find the measurements and then cut it into wedges. You glue the wedges to colored paper, alternating them, and find the measurements of the parallelogram that was formed. The measurements should match. Then you decorate it and turn it into a caterpillar. One creative boy turned it into a truck. The kids got to have fun.

Good evening all! It's been a busy couple of days. Jerry came through the eye surgery ok. Won't know until next week to see if his eyesight has returned in that eye. So far it is still a blur.

Gail, glad your sister came through the surgery ok. Hope her recovery is quick and it solves the mini strokes problems. She's in my thoughts and prayers.

Stella, glad to hear the surgery went well, hope the next week brings good news.

Rolanda, please do bring the boys over - the driver has installed everything in Chinese!!!

Your comment about crossing the road reminded me of something that happened to one of my math students this week. She is 19 and lives walking distance away. It's not a short walk so she usually drives. This week she walked. We were in a different room to the phones so didn't hear the 6 times her mother called (mobile calls), or see the facebook comment or the email, worried about her daughter because her car was at home and she wasn't. Did I say she is 19???????

ok..I'm now outta here...
Dropped by to see Heidi and became sidetracked in her gallery.
If you haven't seen the latest photo she has posted it is worth a look. I want to know where she finds the time ....she said she has been wanting to learn how to carve/Dremel eggs and has posted a picture of her first attempt - an emu egg.
How long did it take and when did you do it Heidi? Would love to know a bit more about which Dremel tools you used.
Hope there are some answers here when I come back... over to you heidi
