Just looked at the time. ages since anyone was here. Watched "Lost in Austen" on TV tonight and then looked up all the English homes that were in the film. We had recognised Harewood House which we visited back in '88.

It has been very quiet on here today.
I have updated my tonight and I dedicate it to my friends here on site.
To Heidi and Bean - please come back, I miss you both. To Gail, Susan, Mamacita who have all suffered either personal or natural tragediess recently; to Broni, June, Brenda, MizT, Stella, Viv, Tami's Mom, Dino, Rayray who have suffered personal or family illness; to eaa, Vici, Mariana, Lizzie, vdV, Becky, Rena, Shar, Martha, Lee, Mary (x2), who seem to have been very busy lately and unable to visit as often. To Rolanda, Suzy, Judy, Tami, Nola and Julie - who still post regularly (along with many already mentioned).
You'll know what I mean if you check out the YouTube.
Note - and this is a big one - if I've missed anybody, I apologise. It was not intentional, it was CRAFTs. I'm finding it hard to hit the submit button because I'm sure I've missed someone really important.

I went to listen to Cyn's YouTube and enjoyed it. I feel the same way about all of you here, I LOVE MY FRIENDS!

BUT I also managed to wake hubby listening to it and I had it turned waaaay down. He said it was like it was right in his ear.

Made the mistake of going to bed before Hubby. Yep did fall asleep, woke up when he came to bed, now am tossing and turning.. the temp is HOT, and keeping him awake..

June, I still have to watch the second half of 'Lost in Austen'. I taped it, will probably watch it tomorrow while I have my lunch.

June, they lost again, but Ebob got to pitch 2 innings. I'm told her pitches 'drop' all of a sudden, which throws off the batters. I mention it because I didn't notice, and still couldn't tell after told!

Hi all, had a good day here. I actually got out into the garden to start tidying up after winter. I think I am going to have to call my gardener to see when he is going to start coming back regularly. I haven't seen him since October.
My daffodils have now opened so looking spring like.

Tami, I'm not bothered about TOPPs list. would rather see everyone posting.

I'm back - empty house! I've loaded the machine, returned the lawn mowers to their rightful place, and kicked the kids out - my time for a little while!

Improving thanks Nola, still on pain killers but not as many. Had a lovely day out on the bay in my boat, she finally got a run!

Blasted lawn mower has found a new way out of the paddock. He's mowing the house yard today - can't get out of that!!!!!

Got to clean out my microwave today, was going to make garlic bread with dinner last night so put a small loaf in the microwave to defrost, must have set it for high instead, never knew you could burn bread in a microwave?????

I'm OK Broni.My psoriatic arthritis has flared up lately so not sleeping too well because of the itch.I look a mess,think I need a sign on my back explaining that I dont have some contagious desease.
Thems the breaks.

Nola does the sunlight help the condition?
I had to look up what the symptoms were for psoriatic arthritis, I had never heard of it before. My mother has psoriasis and the sun used to help.

I love my pooter coz that's where My friends live!

That was one of the first emails I ever got from a friend on this site, and I printed it out and it has been stuck on the wall in front of my pooter ever since!

I've just booked a weeks holiday for Richard and me. I have wanted to go north (back to the area I was born) for a few years, so I have booked a cottage in Weardale for a week. We go in 5 weeks time. Just hope the weather is kind as the area we are going to can be bleak in the bad weather.

Hi Gail, it does seem strange that we all feel the same way about our computers. Our friends live in it (even though we have never met most of them and probably will never meet in person many of them.)
First site I look at when I log on is SA, then go off and do what I was meant to be doing.

Your holiday sounds lovely Brenda. I am positive the weather will be fine and even if it is not, you will enjoy it. Live with no regrets, you have wanted to do this for the longest time, and now you are.
Well done.

When I log on, I open my 'folder' which has 13(!) tabs to open. First, I go through my three email pages, then Myspace(!), Facebook and THEN here, but it is SA where I linger the most.

Now, before I get stuck here any longer, I must depart to do ffuts.
