Stella - you're welcome to come and stay in our mess - that goes for anyone visiting Brisbane.
I've had a few strange reactions from people when I mention my friends on here. Hubby was a bit unsure but he came with me to my first Sudoku gathering and met Susan and Vicki and has been great since - he's also met Viv and the WA girls, as well as talking to Heidi on Skype - so he's almost an honorary member now - he's spends hours playing the Flash Games on site too.

Good mAen, Everyone! Well, I guess it's LATE afternoon here, as it's nearly 6 p.m. We have had a busy day, and still have a 7 p.m. appointment yet to go. Maybe I'll find a few minutes to read comments before I head to bed. It can't be too late, as we have another early morning tomorrow (6 a.m. today to get ready and leave for an appointment, and as early tomorrow, as we both have our annual physicals starting at 7:30 tomorrow).

Time here to go into that room and fling food. I am really not into cooking tonight, nor eating. I wonder if I could convince Al he is not hungry either? I gave him home veg beef (venison) soup and cornbread last night. I guess I should cook tonight.

Gail, my mom is lying. I am 29 and my mom is 39. That is my story and I am sticking to it and so is she. A funny story. My mom's mom always lied about her age by taking 2 years off her real age. When she died, my mom and her brother agreed to change her date of birth to two years later so that no one would ever know that she had been lying all those years. Only the family knows that her tombstone is incorrect.

Hi Tami, I'm 29 too, which means I got married when I was 10....

Gail, self gninaelc clothes, sheets and towels! The person who could invent those would make a fortune! Maybe you could get hubby working on that in his semi-retirement?

MizT, did Al believe he wasn't hungry? Men are tough to convince but I'm sure there must be an argument that would work out there somewhere.

Rolanda, I've seen your photos, I'll take that tour, as soon as I get my broomstick repaired!

Suzy, Mitchell wants to be an inventor. I will put him to work on it right away. I had self-gniaelc clothes when I was younger. I would leave dirty clothes on the floor and find clean clothes laying on my bed. The laundry fairy used to visit my room.

SUZY, they must be very good friends indeed if they will be visiting for a few weeks!

Rolanda, hope you turned the mountain into a mole hill fore time for Mum to visit.

Bean, enjoy the movie.

Tami, wonder why that 2 years was so important to your grandma?

My ex's Aunt M. always made everyone one year older than thier birthday. You have your 29th birthday and she would say that you were in thirtieth year! Accurate really, but not comforting.

Hello, Friends! CynB, thank you for the YouTube you mentionied on page 58! (Yes, I finally am getting close to caught up.) That's What Friends Are For! It could be the theme song for SA!

Now, it's past midnight, so I really must try to get some sleep. I hope to get back for a longer visit tomorrow! Love you all, and take care of yourselves and those you love!

My house looks like a bomb hit it, some wags might say that's nothing unusual but it is actually worse than normal! The end bedroom, which was originally D#3's, is being readied to receive Mum's bedroom suite that I inherited. It will be set up as a spare bedroom, and will from then on be known as Nana's room, it was the room she stayed in the last time she was here.

Forgot to mention that the room, prior to this next incarnation, was variously known as 'The Junk Room', 'The Clothes Room', or alternatively, as my husband recently coined it when we were emptying it, 'The Death Trap'!

I just spoke to my mother and she is very sad. A wedge-tailed eagle flew out of bushes beside the road and hit her car. Her bull bar has bent all the way around the side of the car so she is sure the poor thing has died. She was very worried about it's mate, as they mate for life, but I found a fact sheet which says the survivor will find a new mate. Some consolation at least.

Sorry MizT, they are coming in a few weeks not for a few weeks - the really would have to be good friends for that!!! My mother comes for a few weeks and that is busy enough. She will be arriving about a week after my friends leave, though I think this will be a shorter visit than at christmas.

Should have said was! The shows just finished.

Seeing as no-one is around, I am going off to test my wordsmith brain. Have a try of this game -

http://www.shockwave.com/gamelanding/texttwist.jsp#NONE

I tried to add it into the games section but apparently it can't be added because you have to leave the sudoku page to get to it...or something! Thought that rule had been changed because it had been for some other games that were added.
