Evening SA8. Oh another game for me.
I do the 3 crosswords every day in the Daily Sydney Paper here and lately have been attempting the 4th one which is hard.
Also try and do the Sudoku in the paper too and the Word Unjumble.
Then try to do the Easy, Medium and Hard on here.
I must stop.

According to this following article in todays Daily Telegraph I should be past it. hehehe
I will condense it, Humpty was too long.
Warning: Brain drain begins at 27.
Our mental abilities are at their prime at 22, said scientists who believe the effects of ageing begin well before our twilight years.

Good Night to all my Aussie friends. Good Morning to those a bit further north.
HAPPY ST PATRIC"S DAY for the topsiders. Everyone is a wee bit Irish on St Patrick's day. I must wear something green today!
No thank you Gail, no new games for me today. Good luck in getting your room back in order. A nice idea to have Nana's room.
Suzy, I must have misread about friends coming for a few weeks, but what is new. Sad about the eagle and your Mom.
I just read a news story about a wild turkey and a motorcycle rider trying to occupy the same space, at 45 MPH . Sent the rider to hospital unconscious and with a broken collar bone, the bird unfortunately did not survive.
Broni, I was asleep, sorry I missed you once you got home.
HI JULIE, happy for you, getting almost caught up here on SA. It is nice to see you here daily again.
Time to do blood sugar check and then have my coffee. HUGS to all.

VV that's really interesting about the brain being at its peak at 22. I remember reading somewhere that the brain isn't fully mature until a person turns 21. So we only get one good year out of it? Ohhhhhhhhh

June It would have been lovely to have had the opportunity to have met up with you, but with the health problems your family have suffered recently it is understandable that you would want and need to holiday closer to home.

all. Busy day today. I just got back from the Doctor's.... recheck on the Achilles Tendonitis...... mason has a Vet appointment in less than 2 hours..... then I take Bonnie on a drive to turn her over to our Collie Rescue leader. I hope she isn't adopted. I hope this person takes one of the others instead.

HEIDI, keeping fingers crossed that Bonnie will not be adopted. It is a bit challenging to type with fingers crossed, but . . .
After a very foggy morning, we have sun and warm breezes. my line is filled and the whites are flapping in the breeze. Should dry before bedtime today.
I have a request for more home made bread, today or tomorrow. Only a couple slices left. I am letting him enjoy the bread. I could not slice it thinly enough to have same carbs as the store bought bread, so I would either eat tiny amounts, or run up my blood sugar.
BTW, my second loaf, with 1 1/2 C self rising white flour and 1 1/2 c whole wheat with only 1 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder was much better to me, not that yuck after taste.

Back from Vet with Mason. We drew blood to check her thyroid. If that comes back OK, we'll be allergy testing her.
Bonnie and I are leaving in an hour.

Thinking back to posts on page 62 about ages.
The year I turned 21 we werer out as a family having a meal at a posh hotel (well we thought it was posh). As my mother's birthday was 6 days after mine, I had a boquet of flowers delivered to her at the table wishing her a Happy 12th birthday!! The staff were a bit puzzled at that message.

Morning all!
Brenda, that sounds like fun! Did she blush or was she the laughing kind?
MizT, that bread sounds so yummy you are being very strong not eating too much of it! A lovely thick slice of bread covered in fresh, cold stuff - mmmmm.
Not touching another game Viv - I have enough trouble getting everything done!
I'm off. Ally gets her cast off today (yay!)so I have even less time to fit everything in today... Hope to catch up with you later - reading at least!

More on Peanut butter.
Night before last, Al wanted an after dinner snack. I saw crackers on his plate and the dill pickle jar sitting out. I asked him, you are having dill pickles on crackers?
NO, he was having PEANUT BUTTER and dill pickles on saltine crackers. Said they are delicious. I will take his word for it.
I found out my book is #5 of a 6 book series, each as long as the one I am reading now, with the seventh book being written and the eighth talked about. Those might keep me busy reading for a long while!

I will hear tomorrow night if I get Bonnie back. Our fearless leader thinks that there's a good chance. She thinks that the interested person is going to prefer one particular, younger, girl. But all I can do now is hope.
She and I also discussed Mason. Her Vet was not able to diagnose Mason's skin problem, so she really wishes us luck. My Vet thinks it's most likely Thyroid, and I think it's most likely allergy. Since the Allergy testing costs 4 times more than the thyroid testing, we're doing thyroid first.

Hi everyone! Just popping in for a few minutes - which has already extended QUITE a bit! (Close your eyes please, I'm still in my nightie! Oh the shame of it!)
Heidi, hope they work out what Mason's problem is, poor boy, and that you get Bonnie back.
Blatant advertising here - anyone in Adelaide may like to check out my son's show (part of the Fringe Festival) Link here - http://www.fringebenefits.com.au/?p=1012 My son is the one being thrown against the wall! SO proud!!
Ok, really should go and make myself decent. I've already had someone knocking at the door - they were wearing suits and carrying folders, so obviously no-one important!
Catch you later! :)

May you always find blue skies above your head, shamrocks beneath your feet, laughter and joy aplenty, kindness from all you meet .. Good friends and kin to miss you if ever you choose to roam, and a path that's been cleared by the angels themselves to carry you safely home.
Happy St. Patrick's Day

You guessed correctly, mum omly ever had 19 real birthdays in her 77 yr life. She celebrated her birthday on the 28th for three but on the fourth year did something special on her day.

Broni, I like the toast you posted. Thank you for sharing.
Suzy, it is hard to believe six weeks have passed already. It seems like Ally broke her arm just a few weeks ago. I know it seems longer for her, but it seemed to go quick. I hope all is well with it off.
